Coincidentally, I was shopping for tyres today.
Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 215/60/R16s, to be precise.
A lot cheaper than I expected.

And coincidentally I had 4 new tyres fitted to my car yesterday.
Earlier in week had new timing belt and spark plugs put in, Subaru apparently are notorious for timing belt damage if not done in time.

I'm only in my 50s, but I can tell you my days of changing tyres are over.
I pay for RAC, and they can do it for me.
I've changed enough tyres in my life (I would actually bet my life on it that I've changed more tyres than anyone in this forum).
But yeah, why change a tyre if you can make a call and get someone to do it for you?
Shit, back when I was 17 I used to change engines in my car on a Saturday afternoon.
And that's not even a slight exaggeration.

In that case - fair enough!
Why I had to wait—the rim on the “spare tyre” was damaged, RAA guy did am excellent emergency repair.
I am reluctant to change tyres since I slightly damaged the bottom of the frame of a previous car with the jack in the wrong place, will do it if needed tho. But, I do pay for silver service with RAA so why not get them to do it?
