It's getting worse here in Perth too.

I'm avoiding all crowds, and don't go anywhere without a mask.

Anyone who comes to my front door has to be wearing one, or I don't open the door.

So you're saying, that in 76 days, 22 people in SA have died WITH Covid-19(NOT because of it)? Now lets look at the stats you've posited.

This shows about one person over 80yo dying with Covid-19 every 4 days.
Twenty of the 22 people who died with Covid-19, were over 80yo. Comorbidities were not mentioned.
"The number of people in hospital WITH the virus – which includes people hospitalized for other reasons – has jumped from 282 yesterday to 323 today.".
Only ONE person was placed on a ventilator(cause not mentioned).
The number of new cases reported, only represents the number of positive RAT's and PCR results.

South Australia's total Covid-19 cases to date is 667K. And, 596 people have died with Covid-19, and other age-related comorbidities. This means a recovery rate of 99.92%, even if you do test positive for Covid-19.

I just don't get it. You are looking at the same facts I am. What are you seeing that I'm not? I still don't see any reason to start re-panicking, staying away from people, covering my face with a useless mask, or rushing out to get my next designer booster fix.

Again, I don't give a shit how many people have caught this flu. I only care about how many people have died directly because of this flu!

Well, that's a pretty stupid attitude.

It seems you have no idea about the other consequences.

It’s not so much what they’re reporting/saying…. It’s what they’re NOT reporting/saying.
For instance… more than ever new babies are sick because of low levels of immunity.
A hospital in Sydney usually may have one baby sick in many thousands… but they are alarmed at half dozen at a time like this. Yes because of covid situation… but did they mention the mum’s already being vaxxed? No they didn’t. It leaves it wide open to misrepresentation.
Funny how all these ambulance code reds we are having in Melbourne due to people with flu or covid and never ever do they mention how some are actually vaxxed.
I refuse to believe they are all non vaxxed.
Someone was saying how he was overseas from Oz and in India for instance … they don’t want to say or hear the “C” word. Just get on calmly with life. Everywhere overseas he went they were getting on with life. He is triple jabbed, caught covid twice and caught the flu… he said covid was mild but the flu was really bad compared to covid. He came back to Oz and all he sees on media is “crisis crisis crisis” and he said overseas was calm but coming back to Australia with all this fear driven shit had raised his anxiety level.

I hate the news and their use of the word “crisis” so often!
One fear after another. Covid. Ambulance ramping, food price hike, egg shortage, potatoes going up 3 times the cost, gas shortage, now impending foot n mouth disease. Well if our grubberment wasn’t so damned broke and greedy… they should lock border to Bali!!!
Who’s asking for trouble?
In 2001 when I went to Italy… yes after the twin towers (actually 3) collapsed, and FMD breakout in England…. I wanted butter for toast as I brought a tube of vegrmite with me… our price here was .80c … in Italy it was $3.50
I wanted milk for coffee but my cousin wouldn’t let me buy anything dairy! She said it was poison!
Geezuz…. I had dry non vegemite Brekky and black coffee a whole month!
I did eventually get used to it but think about how our dairy is such an integral part of our lives.
So why not close border to Bali?

why would they? At any time you were in hospital over your life, did they ever mention that you were immunised for polio, hepatitis, whooping couch or anything else? Why would they start now?

Funny how all these ambulance code reds we are having in Melbourne due to people with flu or covid and never ever do they mention how some are actually vaxxed
again, irrelevant. If a nurse or doctor is isolating for 7 days what does it matter that they are vacinated or not? You're just trying to blame the vaccine for everything instead of looking at the actual cause. If they are isolating because of covid, the cause is covid, not the vaccine.

I’m glad you asked that because… remember 2 weeks ago I went to hospital for a totally non covid related situation….
And all I was asked left right and centre was if I was covid vaccinated.
Why didn’t they ask if I had tetanus or polio or flu vax?
And… getting reference for this care plan before that, I’m asked if I’m fully vaxxed.
And another place it was assumed I’m fully vaxxed coz I’m a little grey and elder… I said “no” in fact I’m thinking … isn’t there a medical privacy act in place? Why should I say whether I am or not… so yes in essence I agree with you… why should it be asked.

no I’m not trying to blame the vaccine…I don’t like the way implications are made as if the non vaxxed are to blame for the high numbers of those that catch flu/covid. I don’t like that it’s leaving it wide open for the vaxxed to blame non vaxxed as there is a division already … I’ve seen it and experiencing it ourselves in family and friend situations. Ostracised is what non vaxxed have/are experiencing.
If vax status shouldn’t be the issue… why are some countries abiding by that and have opened up in a non discriminatory way to all, including unvaxxed… whilst other countries have remained shut to them.

because tetanus and polio aren't doing the rounds right now.
I heard HIV has reared its ugly head?
As for doing the rounds … yes flu season is upon us…. As it’s always been… I always get the flu without fail… bedridden and all.
I don’t go running scared about it though… and in fact after I had covid… I’m asked…if I was scared. I said no.

Stupid attitude?? I think objective, rational, scientific, and honest are a better fit. Especially, when anyone tries to force/coerce me(mandates, fines, imprisonment, employment, etc.) to stick anything into my body that I don't want/need. Eventually, only the most hard-core sheeples will be left parroting the government's manufactured, misleading, and self-serving disinformation.

What are these consequences you're talking about? Do you think that this flu virus will be the start of a global apocalypse? Do you think that if we don't keep taking these designer vaccines, that this virus will kill every man woman and child(even their pets)?? Do you think that our natural immune system is useless against this super virus?

Clearly, it is YOU who have no idea about the other consequences! Namely CHOICE! Before I simply rollover and give-up this choice, I will first learn, scrutinize, and verify everything there is to know about this virus.

Again I ask. What are you seeing that I'm not?

Remove your blinkers.
Could you be a bit more specific? You sound as vague as all political jargons. The "bigger picture" can mean anything you want it to mean! And, don't use "the general good", which is just as meaningless.

Since I am asking for clarity, I not wearing blinkers.

South Australia today reported 5,054 new COVID cases, with the number of infectious patients in hospital also increasing to a new record of 354, including 12 in intensive care.

Seven people who tested positive for COVID have died over the past 24 hours, including a woman in her 70s, a woman in her 80s, four women in their 90s and a man in his 80s.

Of those hospitalised, 206 people have received three or more vaccine doses, 88 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 60 have an unknown vaccination status.

Just under 94 per cent of eligible South Australians aged 12+ have received at least two vaccine doses.

Boosters have been administered to 74 per cent of eligible South Australians and 69.7 per cent of South Australians aged 16+.

SA Health reports there are now 30,525 active cases in South Australia.

It comes as Professor Nicola Spurrier, who is currently isolating at home with COVID, said that although modelling indicated the peak of the current infection wave would arrive this week, new sub-variants meant that was uncertain.

You are absolutely correct. As I've stated before, since there is no vaccine in the world that can prevent anyone from being infected by anything, there will only be ONE outcome for vaccinating everyone. That is, ONLY VACCINATED PEOPLE WILL BE INFECTED!! This is what we would expect. And, this is what we see.

Remember vaccines were billed as the panacea/remedy/solution for saving us from this deadly "Covid-19" disease. People were fed just enough packaged bullshit, to believe that vaccines would protect them from having Covid-19. This was a lie! People are still dying, and are still being infected with this virus. Vaccinated or not!

Any moron should have known, that there is nothing man can do to stop any virus from infecting mankind. Masks, distancing, and vaccines, are no substitutes for a healthy immune system. But what an excellent opportunity for an $8B investment in Covid-19 vaccine rollout by the government. Have they started vaccinating our pets yet, to help pay for the next shipment?

And another place it was assumed I’m fully vaxxed coz I’m a little grey and elder… I said “no” in fact I’m thinking … isn’t there a medical privacy act in place? Why should I say whether I am or not…
You are correct again. No one has the right to know, or access your medical history without your consent and knowledge. Especially, to complete strangers. But the government can just declare anything it wants as a crisis/emergency. And, then make up any legislature it wants to ignore these pesky individual rights and privacy issues. Under the guise of "the greater good".

I couldn't care less how many people have tested positive for Covid-19, in the last 24hrs in SA. It clearly is NOT a death sentence(out of 5,054)! Five of the seven deaths, were over 90yo. What other comorbidities contributed to their death? Were they vaccinated or not? Just more irresponsible fear mongering.

Seems money matters more than lives in Australia:
New variations be here soon.
