Rumor? Djokovic was arrested again? ... if so, this is a total abuse of the judiciary and abuse of government power

If this is true it is a complete travesty of justice after a judge freed Djokovic.

It could possibly also be a rumor started by ScoMo to test the waters of public outrage in case he does proceed with arresting Djokovic.

Whichever way this goes, ScoMo is facing a lose-lose situation for him and his government. If Djokovic walks away with the trophy ScoMo will be howling with rage.

This is bad publicity for Australia and it will get worse if the morning news confirms he is arrested.

This is a disgrace. The government lost in court but decided to deport him anyway.

This is again political because every time Djokovic appeared in public the government would be reminded they lost.

If the government does not abide by the decisions of the court, there is no justice in Australia.

Novak Djokovic is 'fighting a losing cause' says Magee

Novak Djokovic had recently won his appeal against the Australian Government after being detained when entering the country without being vaccinated from coronavirus. However, in recent reports, Djokovic has allegedly been arrested once again and faces the threat of being deported from Australia and not be able to return for three years, putting a strain on his career, Former British Men’s Number One, Andrew Castle joined BBC Breakfast hosts Dan Walker and Nina Warhurst to discuss the latest developments.

“What does this story tell us about what might come next, not just for Novak Djokovic but for sportsmen and women around the world who need to be able to travel freely in order to take part in competitions?”

Andrew explained: “Well, there is bound to be more of it in terms of Australia, you have the Formula One Grand Prix coming up in April, ultimately where does this whole story go?

“Are you going to be able to make the decision on your own vaccination or not? So, we get into mandatory vaccination argument in effect because that is where the pressure is going.

“If it is going to be like this every time you try to move and try to do your business and pursue your living.

“If it is like this is this going to push or nudge people to become vaccinated or is it going to harm their stance for what they believe, rightly or wrongly,” he said.

Andrew continued: “The thing is, how much political pressure was there on Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the state of Victoria throughout this process?

“Did they act because they realised rightly I think there was public outrage that Novak Djokovic might be getting different treatment than anybody else?

“It appears to me to be a complete embarrassment for the Australian government, I have to say, the judge has basically thrown this out and said, ‘What more could this man do?’ Where they go next as a government I don’t know.”

Speaking on the arrest reports, Andrew said: “It appears they may take the nuclear option to in effect go against the judge or at least accept the judge’s ruling that Novak Djokovic is allowed into Australia but then use the ultimate sanction of deporting him anyway.

“The implications of that would be absolutely huge, it is certainly a nuclear option, and it would mean that Novak Djokovic wouldn’t be allowed to come back into Australia for three years.

“I find this absolutely extraordinary, I thought the judge's verdict was a complete vindication for Novak Djokovic, not his no-vax strategy.

ABC news as of 57 minutes ago that Immigration Minister Hawke was “considering” his options.
He was considering what would be worse, the public reaction and opprobrium to the dirty trick of deportation, or the image of ScoMo losing every time Djokovic wins and appears in the media, and the final nail when Djokovic wins the AO and ScoMo shrivels up and slips into a crack in the ground.
