I doubt that the world will ever be Covid-free. I expect that as time passes, better medicines and vaccinations will get us back to normal, but not completely free of it.

Air travel has not returned to normal. Masks are required from the moment you enter the terminal until the time you exit the terminal at your destination. I recently flew from Portland to Washington, D.C., and back. The trip to DC was a non-stop, so I wore a mask for a total of about 7 hours. But the return trip had a 2-hour layover in Seattle, and I ended up wearing a mask for about 10 hours total. Ugh! I’m ready for that requirement to be dropped.
