Invasion day January 26 is coming up ... invasion, imprisonment, slavery, exclusion and genocide is not a cause for celebration

"This January 26, thousands across the country will take to the streets to stand in solidarity with First Nations Peoples.

For hundreds of years, protest has been central to the fight for First Nations resistance and justice in this country. "

There is no specific day in the calendar that can be called Australia day other than January 1, 1901.

UK doesn't have a UK day. The USA doesn't have a USA day. France doesn't have a France day.

WTF is Australia Day other than an insult to Aborigines.

On your knees you closet pom varlets.

... On 26 January, 1972, Michael Anderson, Billy Craigie, Bertie Williams, and Tony Coorey planted a beach umbrella outside of what is now known as Old Parliament House, proclaiming it the Aboriginal Embassy.

What began as a stand for land rights and opposition to government policy of assimilation, quickly transformed into the site and symbol of our ongoing resistance to colonial rule — an assertion of our unshakable right to practice and protect country, culture, and self-determination.

50 years later, and the injustices continue. The violence of invasion endures in the 500 deaths in custody.1 In the fracking on our lands without consent.2 In the destruction of our cultural heritage and sacred sites for profit.3 And in the Morrison Government's utter failure to listen and act to keep our communities safe in this pandemic.4 ...

British Aboriginals love it because it celebrates British acts of genocide, murder, slavery, and socioeconomic exclusion.
Why the hell do you keep talking about British Aboriginals? I certainly didn't mention them. Stop playing games. Are you actually under the impression that all Australian Aboriginals are against Australia Day?

You are evidently of British Aboriginal descent and seem to have become hostile over this issue. What is the game you are playing? Can I play too?

How VERY telling that you cannot answer! Let's try one more time: Are you actually under the impression that all Australian Aboriginals are against Australia Day?

It's VERY simple! Many Australian aboriginals are FINE with Australia Day!
No, they are not. They are a minority and they tell people like you what you want to hear because you get angry and argumentative if people have opinions opposed to yours.

I notice that you haven't included any support whatsoever to your claim that they "tell people like [me] what [we] want to hear!" Why am I not surprised! :ROFL1

I rest my case. I told you an opinion opposed to your views and you have become argumentative.
