The book by Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle that is.

Larry & Jerry frequently collaborated.

Inferno is a 20thC American journey through Hell, guided by, errr ummm Benito Mussolini.

Sort of follows Dante's story (which I have read) yeah sort of.

If you can find it in a second hand bookshop it will be worth the couple of bucks they will charge you.

Cool. Will check out the bookshop - next time I'm not in Gladstone that is. Can you believe that we don't even have a second hand bookstore, let alone a first hand one. How a town that just scrapes in big enough to be called a small city lacks a bookstore is beyond me :(

Oh, they do - they read titty magazines. But to get something that actually has some intellectual flesh as well as the other kind, you need to go elsewhere :mrgreen:
