I have finally switched to Firefox browser from Chrome which has been problematic lately

Chrome has been suffering lockups in browser pages and Gmail. I finally tired of it and switched to Firefox.

I have been using Chrome for so long I can't remember when I started. However, I did use Firefox before I had switched to Chrome.

Google help has been unhelpful in resolving the problems and in fact, they did not even identify the specific problem.

I am having problems with Optus, service not working and they have been billing me for the old wireless and the (crap) FTTN service. Currently connected via my iPhone.

They will lick your toes if you mention the Ombudsman.

Waterfox Gen3 seems to work well so far.......I have 14+ different browsers at my disposal......they are all portable versions (don't require installing, & don't write to the registry....can reside on an external drive or thumb drive).

I uninstalled Chrome and another Chrome beta version that was coexisting on the computer. Then reinstalled Chrome and the problems appear to be fixed.
