Polls are REALLY strong for Labor. Hopefully this means less Greens in the Senate. We are in difficult times and need a government that can act. Consult other Parties, sure, but the government must be able to ACT!
Greens are just neoliberals anyway, long years of pandering to their wealthy inner city base has done that. That is why they killed both attempts to price carbon that Labor put up So I hope their number goes backwards. Hopefully Labor can convince the electorate to have a workable government.
Not absolutely essential I suppose—look at what Gillard achieved as a minority government but I think it would help if the government has a clear run for one term anyway.

Wish list: a real policy to deal with COVID19
The NBN FTTH rollout to be restarted, stuff this copper mess. Sell the NBN to the Future Fund, getting a nice help to the bottom line.
More money to the ABC, only real competition to bloody Merde-och.
More money to the CSIRO/BoM to research AGW with especial reference to Australia and into adaptation and mitigation efforts.
Cut the outrageous lurks like dividend imputation and giving SMSFs money when they hadn’t paid any fucking tax—money for jam for rich bastards that! Reform capital gains tax, apply a budget restoration levy—make it a poll tax, can’t avoid that. Yes, Labor has said it would not change dividend imputation and capital gains tax exemptions but if they control both Houses it can go through and nobody will remember 3 years later.
Work out a China policy that makes sense.
Undo neoliberalism—make CEO pay confidential again, present system just encourages bigger and bigger salary + bonus packages. This will be tough—why I don’t want the bloody Green Neoliberals to have a way of blocking legislation.
