Don’t live by some religious book

After arriving at the ferry car park I took socks for a walk. First to the pier: a young bloke was sitting on a bench looking at his phone. I saw he was a Moslem so pulled Socks back—but you would think I was pointing a gun at the idiot as he scrambled desperately back. What The Simple Fuck!

Then I walked the mutt to the city along the tramline, mostly over grass reserves but at the end had to go on a walkway. On the way back an older bloke, not an obvious Moslem but such he was “I musn’t touch it” no of course not, idiot, obviously giving a friendly young dog a pat would see you burn to a cinder on the spot.

FFS, what some idiot wrote in a book over a thousand years ago in another country/culture MUST be followed to the letter in Australia in 2022, saves the effort of thinking for oneself. Jesus!

I fail to see what relevance his religion has to do with it. I'm not aware of anything in the Koran prohibiting the patting of dogs (not that I've read the Koran). I know muslims who've had pet dogs. Perhaps he was just scared of dogs?

I have read that somewhere, yes. It is the same hysterical reaction by all Muslims.

Mohammad wanted to create a cult that would last and he certainly did that!

Interesting! BUT it does not explain the horror with which the two Muslims greeted Socks. No plague in Australia.

What I DO see more and more (courtesy of Socks) is Chinese people with dogs as beloved pets. A nice development. And even the tiniest bit of fluff can give warning of intruders!
