Over 6.7K Australians are in homecare or residential care facilities. 14% of the cases have died in hospitals, and 40% in home and residential care facilities. And all the rest elsewhere. So NOT overrun. Hospitals also have other contingency plans, just in case they are ever stretched to their limits. There are many options available to them in an emergency. Or, do you think that all hospital administrators are as dumb as you???

I know they told you it was a record number of cases and hospitalizations. There are around 13K hospital beds in NSW. I have no idea how many beds are available in other non-hospital healthcare facilities in NSW. So instead of starting with this meaningless superlative("record day"), exactly how many new cases, deaths, new hospital admissions, and ICU admissions were there in NSW? More than yesterday? How many people in NSW have recovered? I thought all these restrictions and vaccines were working!! Why are we having record days?

I merely pointed out that a large number of them would be unacceptable for use for covid patients because of the other patients in those wards. And, then trying to scapegoat unvaccinated people as the direct cause? It is a lie, bigoted, and uninformed. Remember, fear and anxiety are the two social ingredients you need to control society. In reality, other measures were taken by hospitals to prevent such a crisis. Such as moving and allocating beds from different wards, or other locations. Hospitals can outsource beds to different healthcare facilities, or add extra wards(emergency funding). There are many options available to hospital staff during their initial triage. You have absolutely no idea just how mute this point really is.

The real problem is the problem that the government has created. This is the real threat to the Healthcare system. It has created a skills and experience shortage, which will adversely effect the industry. This WILL definitely effect the quality of medical care.
