because it's Biden.
you are seeing what you want to see
a. Apart from informing him for diplomacys sake, it should never go up to the president. He's a poltician, not a soldier.
b. how would you know this was any different? I'm pretty sure it wasn't Biden who chose the target.
sorry but that's a load of crap ... it's not the first time the military has got it wrong and it won't be the last.
this was just one example during trump
did they rush that strike as well? did that order come from trump?
and another one in 2015
I should have said we are seeing a pattern of incompetence
and lying about it. The examples you gave were mistakes and they were admitted to right away.
The incompetence of Biden and his staff is showing itself over and over.
- Our southern border is out of control because of Biden. And Biden turned that over to Kamala Harris to manage. Incompetence on top of incompetence.
- Allowing the taliban to take all of Afghanistan, encircle and then take Kabul, all the while claiming they had confidence in the Afghan army to defend the country, was a combination of incompetence and lying. It resulted in the unnecessary deaths of 13 U.S. service members.
- Shortly after, the Administration claimed it struck an ISIS "planner and facilitator" out in Nangahar Province. But there is no video, no names given, and no background on the subject. And if they knew this person was all that, why did they wait until
after the deaths of our service members to strike him? I don't trust this Administration to be truthful. It looks an awful lot like a strike to save face and look tough, if there was a strike at all.
- And now this latest tragedy.
Clearly, they didn't know who they were striking, and they didn't know what they were striking, and they lied about it. They lied about the civilian deaths, and they lied about secondary explosions. The due diligence was not done, and that almost has to be because of pressure from the White House.
The Killer Elite is a book I've read about the development of the drone program, and it provides a very good insight into what goes in to the decision to strike with a drone.
- And on the domestic front, Congress is at an impasse, getting zero leadership from Biden.
This appears to be a President and an Administration that cannot do anything right. I'm beginning to wish that it would do nothing at all, because everything it touches goes to shit.
