In my case I didn’t spread it to anyone close to me even though I interacted with them normally for days before I knew I was sick.
The OP asks if there is any shred of evidence. Well here’s a shred of evidence.
British scientists examined how the Pfizer-BioNTech and the AstraZeneca vaccines affected the spread of the virus if a person had a breakthrough infection.

Anyone who is asymptomatic will not spread the virus to anyone. How would you transmit this virus to anyone? By thought? It may take up to 6 days before any symptoms will develop. But our immune system may take minutes to days(innate), or days to weeks(adaptive), to kick in. Everything depends on the condition of our immune system. This is the only factor.
I have no problems with normal vaccines. But I do have a problem with these new and cheaper genetic-inducing vaccines. These vaccines use animal vectors to transfer genetic instructions into normal healthy cells. This new method produces a vaccine, that is designed to induce the immune system to produce only antigen-specific antibodies(spikes). NOT pathogen-non-specific antibodies(entire virus). These vaccine-induced high affinity antibodies will, over time, out compete with our normal broad-spectrum low-affinity antibodies.
Remember, our immune system just doesn't fight against viruses only. It responds to anything that didn't come with the original package. Everything from poisonous gases, to tooth decay, to a simple cut. It would even attack the fetus(Lupus), if it were not suppressed.
I certainly agree that people who are vaccinated specifically with this strain of Covid-19, will certainly be less likely to spread this virus. This is because you don't have to wait for these specific antibodies to be made by the immune system. They would already be in the bloodstream. This would certainly decrease the likelihood of symptoms appearing. Other than a fever.
But for anyone with a normal healthy immune system, simply taking decongestants and antihistamines would also decrease the likelihood of symptoms appearing. Thus, reducing their likelihood of spreading this virus. Maybe this is why over 80% of all Covid-19 sufferers report mild to no symptoms at all. Victims simply take over the counter meds, like we've done for decades with all the other viruses.
It is easy to assume causes based only on the effects.
