According to this STATE law(Texas), anyone who aids and abets a pregnant women in having an abortion before the fact(crime) is an Accomplish to the criminal act(Accessory before the Fact, Principal to the Act). Anyone who helps a women after having an abortion, is an accessory after the fact(crime). But the main Principals to the crime(pregnant mothers), are NOT EVEN CHARGED OR ARRESTED!! I suppose the optics of having thousands of pregnant women peering out through the bars in their cells, is even more repugnant than the removal of an 18 celled berry-like mass from the walls of a woman's womb.

Think about it. Would cops arrest only the people selling illegal drugs, and NOT the people who are buying the drugs?? Would cops only arrest the contract killers for their murders, and NOT the people who paid them?? So, when using Texas logic, we criminalize a medical procedure, we arrest and convict anyone who aids and abets the principal of a felony, we pay $10K to all abortion whistleblowers, AND SIMPLY LET THE PRE/POST ABORTION MOTHERS GO FREE. This law is blatantly sexists, biased, and discriminatory. Are Texans really this hypocritical, ignorant, and misogynistic??

But like all religious belief-based-rationales, they are NOT based in fact, logic, or science. They are based only in the blind ignorance, intelligence, and emotions of the hive's dumbest member. When I saw how the governor and his staff treated a protester voicing his concerns in the chambers, I saw the return of the Lester Maddock and George Wallace form of justice and compassion. If you are non-White or Female in these states, you're chattel!! Ruled by the Oligarchs and the Plutocrats of the state.

As I've said many time, if you really want to end most elective abortions, just criminalize the NON-use of condoms and birth control during sex. Or, to legally force fathers to be responsible for the care and support of the mother and child. Think this will ever happen??

Correct! Since the crime has NOT occurred yet, he would be an accomplice before the fact. Which should incur the same penalties/sentences as the principal to the crime(mother). But for some reason she is immune to prosecution.

But it is worse than that John. If someone even LENDS a pregnant woman a car to go interstate for an abortion, he/she would also be aiding and abetting in the commission of a crime(a felony). They are even required to prove THEIR own innocence. The total opposite mantra of our current jurisprudence.

Here are some other things that will raise your blood pressure about Senate Bill 8(Texas). This bill tries to prevent a patient's access to counsel with health-care providers. And, tries to prevent access to an attorney to represent them as a litigant challenging these Texas abortion restrictions. All these actions can be seen as aiding and abetting under this bill. This is medical fascism.

I love how the law reads as 6 weeks of pregnancy, or when a FETAL heartbeat is DETECTED. They leave out that 6 weeks of pregnancy is counted from the 1st day of the last menstrual cycle. This really means only 4 weeks of gestation(after conception). At this stage THERE IS NO FETAL HEARTBEAT! Because there is no developed, or functioning fetal heart.

No one cares about the truth in Texas. They only care about country and western truths.

Remember, it is NOT the state that is dirtying their hands in bringing litigation against people who aids and abets anyone who violates SB 8. Otherwise, the State would open itself up to(which 3 justices saw through) endless civil lawsuits("?"vs Texas). This cowardly state simply circumvented this little annoyance, by paying private citizens $10K to rat out and sue anyone they think is aiding and abetting a pregnant woman to get an abortion. They even left out any definition of the word "intent" in the bill, to avoid the state having to prove the intent of the aider and abettor. So, if a woman sold her diamond ring at a pawnshop, and told him she was getting an abortion, he could become a felon for giving her money!

So, the ticketholder, bus driver, and the pilot must first be ratted-out by these morally righteous citizens(in ANY state), before they can come under the radar of the State. Even if the whistleblowers lose, the state will still pay for their efforts.

Lets not forget the "Anti-Miscegenation" laws, from 1705 - 1967. These laws criminalized interracial marriage, cohabitation, and intimacy between Whites and any other race(including Native Americans).

Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, is a scientific theory that was meant to explain our observations of the biodiversity of all life on this planet. Many conservative Republicans have used this theory to justify their particular understanding of human social, political, or economic conditions.

These Social Darwinists(Conservatives) entertain the belief, that the powerful in society are innately better than the weak. And, that their success is proof of their superiority. This gross misreading of Darwin's "Origin of Species"(specifically the "survival of the fittest"), is their Bible for justifying social injustice, racial oppression, and eugenics(scientific racism).

Unfortunately, this rape of the mind will take generations to remove from the gene-pool. And, these social dinosaurs may take even longer. If the states start forcing its citizens to behave in the image of its oligarchs and plutocrats, then I believe that a civil war will be inevitable.
