Although religious people would disagree with you; they would say that the very first 'law' was the Law of Moses, and that God ensured that man's heart was written with the Law (of Moses).

Hangover from earlier days. Neither Party wants to be first to get rid of the pointless Lord’s Prayer.

Be nice when that crap gets replaced by some affirmation of human dignity and rights and the obligations of the politicians!

The Church—speaking of all christian churches—has done some good things but lots of bad things too: pedophilia and hiding of pedophiles, the Reichskonkordat or accommodation with Hitler by the Catholic Church and being reactionary and a drag on progress: contraception, gay marriage, divorce. Even some of the good things like religious-run schools come with lots indoctrination in the religion.

If you think politicians are obliged to do anything more moral than you then you my friend don't know a thing about systems!

Which was my point about the Iron Law of Oligarchy. The system influences and shapes behaviour.

Yeh, I agree with a lot of what you say... Some say man corrupts system but others say system corrupts man.

Because of structure the structure will be gamed--> life clings to structure... all a very logically well trodden path. (What is a reef system, for instance?!!?)

IMHO :Hi

Of course it doesn't mean I agree with everything you say but why else are we trippin' balls on the internet? :rofl

No ones advocating the abolition of government, just the removal of prayers from parliament.

I’m afraid I can’t discuss this issue further with you as your logic is inherently corrupted.

Ha! Business management isn't even really a thing. I don't know what it was like before, but now business degrees are simply cash-cows for overseas students.
