Blackmail charges against CFMEU bosses John Setka, Shaun Reardon dropped

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-05-16/blackmail-charges-against-construction-union-bosses-dropped-by/9766648

So the end result of Abbotts royal commission into unions is ZERO, NIL, NADA prosecutions :c :c :c

and to think the dickhead Abbott took money away from the royal into systemic child abuse by the church to pursue his politically motivated witch hunt.
The libs pushed a royal into unions and another into pink batts, both politically motivated to further their own agenda, all while trying to stop a royal into child abuse and another into the banking system

libs should be banned from office until they learn that govt. is there so serve the public, not their political party. They should also be made to repay taxpayers the $50+ million wasted on this royal
FD.
I hope that bitch who was running their brothels for them gets raped with a cactus.

It is well earned and due slap in the face for that Royal Commission and its crap adverse finding of purported wrong-doing which turns out to not even be sustainable at threshold level in Court Rooms. They are just witch hunts, and of zero relevance in determining what is lawful and what is unlawful. They are political pageants with some rare exceptions like the sex abuse RC where you can actually see vindication of the RC's work in Court, and the Bank one where almost daily, Executives are falling on their swords. Otherwise, they are very superficial, provide headlines and column inches for the schmedia, and have pre-determined outcomes at which the main stream legal world, charged with having and running Trials according to evidence and not highly contrived and orchestrated ambush for a cheap political blow, just laugh .....as is yet again evidenced today.

Bet the government is really pissed off.

Thank goodness for the separation of powers, and the continued resistance to the drive for totalitarian rule, which our COURTS are hindering .. if not totally succeeding. The government will seek more and more to side-line our Courts, and others who stand against them like the Union movement. We wouldn't be Australia, without Unions.

People seem to forget that. And our youth..?? do they even know what unions and unionism means?.
I doubt that very much, given the standard of our education system. :sad :sad

Hey Aussie

I notice youliar is still putting up a poster accusing Setka and Reardon of 'undue harassment or Coercion'

given how this has turned out, can't they sue the liberal party (or whoever else is responsible) for distributing these posters

Sure...they can. Whether they'd bother (as it seems their Lawyers are considering) is another matter.
