air tasker

Postby johnsmith » 25 Feb 2018, 22:33

I've been looking at that thread about air tasker on ozpol and I think they have it wrong

air tasker isn't about finding tradesmen.
it's about finding people who will do odd jobs and everyday tasks for a bit of cash. I have a neighbour that used it and two women cleaned her garden for $40 .... they spent 3 hrs there and filled a car with rubbish. i'VE EVEN SEEN SOMEONE ADVERTISING FOR A dinner date. Other things can include someone to cook you dinner cause you have a busy day planned, dog sitting, cleaning, connecting your new stereo, build your flat pack furniture etc etc.

any job that requires a real tradie I would suggest you source by other means
FD.
I hope that bitch who was running their brothels for them gets raped with a cactus.

I reckon that is it.

Ask for a police clearance/insurance before letting them into your house maybe?

Definitely do a police check if you let them anywhere in/near your property and belongings.
If this was Sydney, then the majority of those 'pleb-job' workers are Houso's just cashing in on their next weekend's bender with the ice cubes.

it's impractical to do a police check everytime you need someone to do something, they take time to do .... and it costs money.

Air tasker, meh.

I just phone the local backpacker joint and ask them to put a notice on the board. Usually get a few Irish guys replying.
