One of the worst places in Sydney, street gang crime is rife and not a Somalian in sight.
Emma Alberici ✔ @albericie
Victoria recorded 90,000 family violence offences in 2017. Family violence accounts for 17.5% of all crime in the state. One woman a week in Australia dies at the hands of a current or former intimate partner. What crime is "out of control"? Family violence is "out of control"

A bit of sense and proportion.

The point is that we can't do anything about the second-generation who were born here. We can do something about those coming from overseas.
Saying that local white Aussies also commit gang violence doesn't mean that we have to import more from overseas, does it?

I don't have a problem doing something about those that come here and break our laws. By all means, send them back on the first plane out.
But the media hype is ridiculous. It's creating a problem out of nothing. youth gang crime is DOWN on last year in Victoria, yet some politicians are pretending it's at epidemic proportions. If there are areas where young gangs run rife, it's because those areas have very high unemployment. There is nothing for them to do and they are vilified for it. It has little to do with their skin colour. Why don't the politicians put their efforts into creating employment instead of feeding the hysteria.

It could be argued that this is a way to shame imported problems into the workforce!

The liberal party is always trying to shame people into work, it doesn't work. If you want them in the workforce you first and foremost need to provide jobs.

...well, what about trying to lower the working wage?
Face it, that’s why they’re here in the first place!
Mass immigration can’t work by definition!

lower the working age? there aren't enough jobs for those that need it now. WHy would you want to create more unemployment? if anything they should lower the retirement age

I said ‘wage’ not ‘age’!
Are you going senile?
