Autumn heat wave predicted for Sydney, NSW, and Qld

This portends that April could be warmer than usual and possibly extends into Winter.

If higher temperatures continue for the forseeable future the Australia-wide drought could continue or worsen.

AGW appears to be slowly engulfing the Australian climate.

We typically go from Winter to a heat wave in Texas. We had record rains in the fall, a wet winter, and cool 20-28C wet Spring weather so far. I hope ya'll catch a break.
Govern wisely, and as little as possible.

Last year driving home from Pt Melbourne was horrible: traffic, roadworks—and a day that very nearly reached 40°C—6-7 weeks after summer had ended!

19°C here today, lovely, but the 7 day forecast shows it warming back up to 29. Some rain overnight but will be evaporated by the weekend I bet.

Are you getting hot over there yet or not?

well it's been gorgeous here one day, and better the next.

Mind you, if it wasn't for rain from Ex TC Trevor, things would have been very different. But hey, isn't it always the way. ?

Hoping for more rain myself. 30' C here today, and a mite humid.
