Earth wobbles

For scientific papers on AGW, record happenings in the Arctic and the Greenland, Himalayan and Antarctic icesheets. Also weatherstorms and higher than average rainfalls and other extreme weather events.

AGW, specifically melting of Greenland ice, adding to the wobble of the earths axis.

err.. I've heard that the Earth periodically changes it's axis's sss

Poles swap positions.
Seems rather extreme.. is it true?.
I don't mean in a sentient civilisation 's life span, but over galactic time scales..?

Due to precession the axis of the earth rotates.

Now the the last ice sheets are melting there is a wobble to the axis of spin, as well as the stately Precession of the Equinoxes.

Flipping of the magnetic poles is completely different and is not related to the angle of the axis of rotation. It is thought that it may see Earth without a magnetic field around it for awhile, meaning some radiation can hit the earth that normally our magnetic field deflects away.
