Netflix, the copper NBN Nemesis

Post by HBS Guy »

Netflix has signed up FIVE MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!
[IT Wire]

The other streaming video services are languishing in Netflix’ dust.

What does this mean? It means 5 million homes are downloading movies Wed–Sun (other times too but mainly evenings leading up to and in the weekends. This is stretching the copper network, ADSL or VDSL(FFTN) to its limits.

Are you screaming at your computer to load that page, send your post etc? Blame copper internet and the stinking Libs!
