To post a YouTube video click on the youtube button above right.

Paste the link to the video then:

1. delete the ‘s’ from the “https://www. . .”

2. delete the “&” in the link and the characters following the ‘&’ so the link ends with “. . .watch. . . ”

Because of changes to W10 some can no longer see the youtube link so please remember to paste the link as a url.

The board software will be updated soon but I suspect it is some Microsoft sneakiness.

Links in the form of:

“https://youtu.be/mYXenjpefNU” won’t work as a youtube link but probably will as a url.

Create a new tab, paste in the, say :roll :bgrin , “https://youtu.be/mYXenjpefNU” and the correct link will appear like “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYXenjpef”

’Hippy just reminded me via PM that:

Hey Monk also when a youtube video is imbedded in a article when you play it a "play in YouTube" button appears on the bottom right if you press that the video happens in a new tab with the right link as well :)
