AFP RAID ABC HQ and The Sunday Telegraph.

Postby pinkeye » 05 Jun 2019, 21:54

So it seems Peter Dutton is concerned our journos are conspiring to endanger Australia Border security. The government is determined...!!

Two raids in two days.

Strange I didn't hear about it, until day 2, when ABC HQ was raided by AFP officers... :jump :OMG :WTF :stop

It was on ABC24 News... this evening
Umm I haven't heard about it on other channels, altho I didn't get to SBS News.

So people..

I think Peter Dutton should be more proactive and thorough in protecting Australia.

Hear hear! Keeping people who have committed no crime in indefinite detention is a breach of human rights and fucking cruel, espaecially as 60,000 ASs have flown in on dodgy temporary work permits and overstayed. Not deterring nothing.

The cops seem a bit confused about this raid stuff... their explanation is not really selling itself and they know it.

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2019/jun/06/whistleblower-protections-a-sham-says-lawyer-whose-leaks-led-to-abc-raids

There was a part two on Andrew Mallard the other day : you know, 'the wronged man' who unfortunately was killed in a car accident the other day in LA after decades being locked up for a murder he didn't commit... and in it he said something like,

"...(OR)IS THIS A FASCIST STATE, I ASK YOU?"

Something like that.

We all know cops and stuff and understand that it's a difficult job and they're dealing with scum and that but some government workers are just so f'n rude... and they push friggin' pencils mate.

Some people deserve to be arrogant because they actually put runso n the board and solve actual problems but this big government shite where huge swathes of the population have jobs for life for just breathing is getting out of control: and that's why the western world got attacked folks.

THE COMPLEX..................... :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush :hush

Obviously they are confused about what their job is. Is raiding whistleblowers, incl one who voluntarily returned to Australia knowing he likely faced the rest of his life in gaol? Nah, illegal behavior by Australian soldiers should be brought to public attention.

What I am worried about—the ABC bowed to political pressure and did not air matters raised by the whistleblower.

When you are dealing with fervent god nutters which is what our governments and parties consist, of, you can expect nothing else but suppression, enforced censorship and never ending lies and denial.

The government let the Chinese navy come into Sydney without telling the people and NSW government, they have also allowed the chinese to be armed with loaded machine guns displayed on their decks.

This government will bring the country to its knees and hand it over to whoever they think will give them an advantage in controlling the people. As the saying goes, we reap what we sow and along with the PC morons, we now have god nutters driving our society into oblivion.

The pollies also gave themselves a pay rise, whilst cutting the wages of the lowest and underemployed. Politicians deserve nothing more than the dole and that's what they should live on, they are unworthy of any thing else.

So I guess Chris Bowen should also be in prison for when he was Immigration Minister.

It's ridiculous that journos now have to fear jail for writing stories that may be politically inconvenient ... Dutton won't be happy until we're a fascist state.

So I suppose you think that all of Labor ALSO won't be happy until we're a fascist state? I mean, considering they voted for
all of the same legislation and didn't repeal the laws that were used in this investigation during their 6 years in office.

I reread one account: https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/national/2019/06/05/abc-raid-david-mcbride/

It was the Afghan files. Got confused with something else I guess.
