Nobody is game enough to call it.

Another term after 16 years is gonna be tough.

16yrs for one govt is to long. Labor should lose it. The public are better served with a mix of ideologies over the longer term.

Oh god! Don't wish fucking Marshall on us!

In any case, Weatherill is relatively new blood ... and not doing too bad a job.

... for a politician.

Check out the youtube in the OP. It's actually very funny, as well as being informative.

The Labor party's been very good at splurging money on useless infrastructure projects.

Would be nice to have one more term, bed down all the renewable energy projects.

Only pointless infrastructure spend is South Rd/SturtRd/Shepherds Hill Rd/Southern Expressway. Will just move the traffic jam a Km or two north. But South Rd/Torrens Rd and South Rd/Port Roads and removing the level crossing will really ease traffic flow. Then we needed a new Adelaide Hospital.

Anything else?

Here's a question:

Would you support reducing the term of the House of Assembly to 3 years, and the LegCo to 6 years respectively?

No, I think I have swung over to wanting the longer 4 year term. Reforms take time to bed down, need a wider perspective than 3 years.

No need for 8 years for one house.

Oooh. That’s interesting.

But you know that the benefit of having the rotation is that half the legco will represent one election cycle and the other half represents the previous one.

Also, does that mean you support 4 terms for the federal House of Representatives?

So i cast an absentee vote so when i arrived at the start of the tunnel of card wielders, i announced loudly that i wasn't taking any cards as i was out of my electorate and knew what i was doing in the senate.

Anyway, this sweet old man came up to me and thrust paper at me. I reflexively reached out to take it then pulled my hand back saying "no thanks" ... at the exact same moment he said the word "liberal".

The paper dropped to the ground. Then i stepped on it.

I said sorry and stuff but man ... it looked awful.

When i left, all the distributors just glared at me.
