MAN OF STEEL

■ GFG Alliance executive chairman Sanjeev Gupta is a 46-year-old British billionaire.

■ Known as the “man of steel” for rescuing 25 steel mills, car plants and engineering workshops in Britain from closure.

■ Bought Whyalla steelworks from administrators for a reported $700 million in August with plans to upgrade .

■ Bought a majority stake in Adelaide renewables company ZEN Energy in September committing to a $700 million SA investment program in solar, battery storage and pumped hydro.

(AdelaideNow—no link)

Gupta is looking to buy equipment from GMH to make electric cars. Hope that happens!

Always a great idea to have people employed and self sufficient. Hopefully they will not have a buck of socialist grubs from a another state coming in trying to destroy their jobs, seems to be all the rage these days with fuckheaded socialists.

Their jobs were destroyed in first place partly because because maintaining the existence of the industry was seen as "too socialist". Government withdrew its support - despite that pretty much every other car making nations government provides the industry support in some way, shape or form because they see value in the ability to make things - and the industry promptly withered away.

Get it thicko? Some measure of that which is loosely defined as "socialism" is necessary for the existence of civilisation.

Sometimes I wish I were you - it would be so easy just to open ones gob and spray forth mindless tripe without the burden of ever having to think about what was being said.

His own extrordinary hypocrisy is lost on him - ffs, how can anyone with half a brain spray bile on the concept of socialism in every other post.....and then go right ahead and demand that it be implemented in this neck of the woods by redistributing nearly a billion dollars of money belonging to the collective Australian public? Where does he think the roads he drives on, the water supply to his house, the electricity network he taps into etc etc all came from? From private enterprisers maximising their own personal self interest? It's all a product of policies that can be loosely called socialism.

He shows about as much thinking as a fucking coral polyp - poke it and it reacts but there's no actual thinking going on whatsoever.

Jeez, what a deadshit.
