As one who has spent a fair bit of time in north and far north Queensland over the years, I'd like to assure forum readers that not everyone up there is as tribal as BigOl :bike

The Qld govt has a hell of a lot of fibre around the place to offices of its various bodies, some of that could be used to give true superfast broadband to homes and businesses. Where cyclones don’t happen an aerial rollout might be possible, quick and cheap.

True superfast broadband—not FTTN, not FW (crippled as that is by microwave instead of fibre backhaul) and not satellite which has had way too many people put on it by NBN Co since the Libs came into government.

If you only use your internet to download porn that is your business. Many will use it to increase productivity, to end isolation, to attract new people to country towns and much more.

400 people to build 5 mines, camp, airport, caol wash plants and 800 kms of rail, you say.

Done a lot of major projects have we, you seem to be very knowledgeable with your statments of 'fact'.

I cannot repeat this enough QLD labor will not be spending a single cent on a second NBN for the north or anything else, it is a fucking lie to try and cover up the fact they just destroyed thousands of jobs up here.

So calm your tits Im not stopping anything it will be QLD labor not even start this horseshit.

You fucking deluded fools

If the majority were like you I'd know a lot less about the north because I would never have gone back.

Happy New Year.

Shit! Maybe we will try harder next time

Maybe you could tell us that a second NBN is more important than base load power or supporting major projects to develop the north, you know really lecture us on how we are wrong and you southeners always know what's best for us.

The main fibre is already in place. I imagine work will start this year and bring huge economic benefits. The Libs have crippled FW by inisisting on microwave backhaul—limited bandwidth and overloaded the satellite. The Qld FTTH is going to change the way people do business giving them much more control over their produce past farm or factory gate and that is that.

You will need the imagination of a retarded child if you think that cunt intends to do anything. for anyone but herself and SEQ

But we aren't even talking about it up here let alone saying thank you for her largess, as we know better than to trust that lying cunt.

We need cheap reliable base load power much more than faster download, and that isn't a lie she will even mention for fear we may hold her to her worthless word.

It is all of rural queensland. Now let this be until later in the year when we see what is happening—ATM it is only investigating the possibility.

You truly believe they are going to provide NBN to farmers who do not even have power to their gate, don't you?

Without gullible retards like you labor would never see the keys to treasury ever again.

They won't even spend a few million north of noosa, let alone the 10s of billions that would be needed to do what you are suggesting.

She is a lying cunt and you are a gullible fool, she relies on people like you. Man you are fucking stupid :rofl :rofl :rofl

It always was a study, announced before the election. Try reading posts before you respond.
