Happy now, Hero?

Will you now stop asking questions and sign the constitution?

How does ONE Independant get even 1% of a State Wide vote? When I ran in a State seat, I made money, but can't recall what % vote it was.......way in excess of 1% but that was just in ONE electorate. I would never have got to 1% State wide, I guess.

In the hybrid system I talked about, the independent would run in a single-member constituency.

Here is a link to an explanation of MMP by the NZ Electoral Commission: hopefully they can explain it better than I can.

Presumably someone from the Jacqui Lambie Network, although she'll choose someone who will temporarily fill her place, and then resign to let her come back, once she's renounced citizenship.

This one in very interesting.

Link.

She was the ALP candidate who beat Liberal prawn Wyatt Roy in Longman and Taxi Industry support had a huge impact.

Seems to me there is a smidgen of doubt, but I reckon the High Court will clear her if she is referred. Turnbull...'bullying?'

Huh?

Cut their pensions they gave no right to.

Link.

A case to pay back pensions

He said it was not right that taxpayers were paying pensions to MPs who had failed to follow the law and renounce their dual citizenship.

"I think there is a case for requiring them to pay some of it back," he said.

"There was a case in NSW in the last few weeks where a barrister was struck off for acting without a practising certificate and acting without professional indemnity insurance.

"Well not only was he struck off, but he had to re-pay to all his clients what they'd paid for him for the services that he'd carried out and I don't see a distinction between the two."

And what does the taxi industry have to do with Canberra?

Another case where federal politicians are responding to state issues.

So.....Major General "Operation Sovereign Borders" Jim Molan will replace Nash. This bloke cares about just one thing.....Jim Molan. What makes him a more detestable human being is that he is an Abbott fan.

Just watched Joyce in the Nats Party Room, Parliament House. All high and mighty...self righteous and bone pointing at Shorten about a a suggestion Shorten knows and knew of ALP Members with likely dual citizenship and saying that Shorten should have outed them well before now.

Well Barnably you prick......you told us you knew you had a problem BEFORE you were referred to the High Court, and you did not immediately resign with that knowledge.

Fark you.

ALP Senator Katy Gallagher.....possible dual citizen.

Link.

I reckon she is safe, having done all she could to renounce...ie..fill out the Form, send it and pay the required fee, From then on...it is up to the efficiency, tardiness or otherwise of the Home Office.

I doubt the Senate will refer Cameron.

Link.

He nominated before 'last year' when Lithuania apparently made some Law, and even if I have that wrong....no way will the High Court hold anyone having Australian citizenship responsible for what some other Country does. Way too indirect....remote......no direct connection.

It’s like North Korea all of sudden granting citizenship to Australian MPs and senators as a joke.
