Not Netflix or Stan but SBS on demand .. 'Ride Upon the Storm'.

Another Scando bout of excellence. By the creators of the sublime 'Borgen'.

I just finished 'Afterlife' on Netflix. Absolutely beautiful.

Even if you're not a fan of Ricky Gervais (i am, a huge one) it is well worth it.

Beware though, it'll break your heart.

I just watched episode 2.

I've done what he did, regarding the "kid's meal" at the cafe.

I so relate to him. I imagine i'll be very much like that when i'm older ... when i've completely stopped giving a fuck.

I look forward to that.

Have you watched Man in the High Castle?

And yes that movie was brilliant, more so for the fact that it was a true story.

High Castle? No.

Very. It supposes a world in which Japan and Germany united to win the war, then divided the world between them. Set in America where the resistance is working against Germany. Only one season.

"This series, loosely based Philip K. Dick's novel of the same name, takes a look at what the world might look like had the outcome of World War II turned out differently. In this dystopian scenario, the Axis powers won the war, leading to the United States being divided into three parts, an area controlled by the Japanese, a Nazi-controlled section, and a buffer zone between the two. Despite the oppression, a new hope emerges when films turn up that seem to show a different world. A woman believes the films contain the key to freedom and is determined to find their mysterious guardian."

I might check it out on the weekend.
