I can't remember what I've watched recently.

I'll log in after lunch and check my history.

The Bridge is there (on Stan), of course, but you've seen that.

Ray Donovan was very good.

Animal Kingdom.

Lost in Space was very good.

Santa Clarita Diet, although quite silly, I enjoyed it.

I loved Ray Donovan. A Brilliant study into the legacy of traumatic childhoods and family dynamics. What started out by appearing successful and functional at the start of the series fell utterly to pieces and what started out weak found strength. Very clever statement on what we respect and heap praise upon versus that which we deride as obvious weakness. One of the best shows i've ever seen.

Didn't know Animal Kingdom was a series? Big fan of the creepy as all fuck movie.

Lost in Space was good. Loved Penny.

And i so loved Santa Clarita Diet. Nazi harvesting. Brilliant. Not to mention the best marriage ever.

I'm persevering with Hannibal at the moment but it's not really grabbed me. It's not as clever as it's trying to be which is hugely disappointing, given it's potential. Might give it up and go for Animal Kingdom. Please don't tell me it's American.

The Detour. - on Stan

Created by Samantha Bee and her husband (who also stars in the series).

Silly, funny.

The kids are hilarious.

I saw The Detour. It was great, and you're right about the kids. The boy is reminiscent of a young Hammer.

As far as comedies go, Netflix "Grace and Frankie" is fall down funny. My daughter nagged me to watch it until i caved and she's now my favourite child.

Of those i've seen Peaky Blinders, Narcos and The Good Place.

I'll put the rest on the list.

friggen NBN ran coax cable through my complex a year ago .... about 6 months ago they sent notices out telling everyone that due to the fact that they're new cable/connections are fucked, there won't be any new connection to nbn until the problem is resolved ... we haven't heard anything from them since

I gave Hannibal one last chance last night ... very glad i did. It all fell into place in one episode ... and got immediately intensely interesting.

Not for the easily disturbed though. It's pretty graphic.

Very pleased i persevered through Hannibal. Mads Mikkelson's (and he's who i watched it for really) Hannibal is inspired.

But i reiterate, it is very disturbing. Not for everyone.

I just watched a mini-series on Netflix - Bodyguard.

6 x 1 hour episodes.

Not too bad.

Set in London.

Outstanding opening episode. I gave up when they started screwing each other. I just thought that was preposterous.

Worth persevering?

Oh and the Bodyguard is one Robb Stark ... coincidentally. He lives!

Have you seen Vikings? Has been screening on SBS and a new season is about to start (so excited) but it's on Netflix.

Seriously good.

Expect to get the horrors though, it's brutal, Still, you've survived GoT thus far.

Yeah, it's worth sticking with - it's only 6 episodes.

I didn't know he was from GoT (his accent is hard to understand at times).

I watched one episode. It didn't grab me. Not many TV series do. And when they do, I usually tire of it after the first season.

GoT is an exception. First time I've been stuck on a series since Sopranos.

The Sopranos is perhaps the best tv i've ever seen ... although much of me wonders if that is because it was exceptional in it's day, y'know, when telly was kinda ordinary. The Sopranos (and The Wire) were actual quality in a sea of tripe. Six Feet Under comes to mind also. I wonder if they'd stand out so far in today's field?

These days we're spoiled for choice. I'm pretty impatient too ... and easily pissed off, as i have just demonstrated. My Netflix and Stan histories are packed with shows i've only watched one or two of.

But trust me on Vikings. If you've even a passing interest in the history, they nailed it. Horribly so at times.
