Oh, and:

"Frank Sinatra" - Cake

We know of an ancient radiation
That haunts dismembered constellations,
A faintly glimmering radio station.
While Frank Sinatra sings Stormy Weather,
The flies and spiders get along together,
Cobwebs fall on an old skipping record.

Beyond the suns that guard this roof,
Beyond your flowers of flaming truths,
Beyond your latest ad campaigns,
An old man sits collecting stamps
In a room all filled with Chinese lamps.
He saves what others throw away.
He says that he'll be rich some day.

We know of an ancient radiation
That haunts dismembered constellations,
A faintly glimmering radio station.

We know of an ancient radiation
That haunts dismembered constellations,
A faintly glimmering radio station.
While Frank Sinatra sings Stormy Weather,
The flies and spiders get along together,
Cobwebs fall on an old skipping record.

Got to 1.59 and understood about 50% of the words coming out of his mouth.

Monk? Anyone else have the same problem I obviously have?

Here's another example of clear as a bell.

Do you hear the difference in word definition? No need to do a lyric search, is there.

Such a cool song. Good for him.

I just want to see that clear clear light
Don't want to be a member of a species that's deceasing
Keep on making those promises that they aren't keeping
Oh I was a talking to the people next door
Said they don't want to die in a nuclear war
Now we went walking down the old north road
We got a common cause we got a heavy heavy load
Watching pictures of the world
Watching pictures as they pass me by
Don't stop at that light
Don't go out at night
My artificial heart
Expensive spare parts
I've been a sailor on the sea I've been a flier in the air
I've seen a whole lot of bleeding hearts out there
They don't talk so much I tell you they still care
They can't go on living like this they can't go on
Don't sit around in silence you don't need a license
It's moving in a hurry there's no need to worry
We're really going to change it the critical mass approaches
I can almost hear it

I reckon not. I say these blokes have swallowed the mic and we are supposed to get keen on just the rhythm/beat.

And opposed to that.....I have no problem with the (stupid) lyrics here, even though the record was a block busker based on the riff/rhythm/beat.

But i understand them. I mean i don't understand James Reyne and stuff but i can usually follow what's being sung.

Not so much physiological age ... more cultural age.

All just sound like noise to you does it?

What about this? Can you make her out?

Barely a word. These buggers deliberately drown the lyrics with over the top instrumental and chorus mumbo.

No wonder I have never heard of them. They are hiding under radar as far as I am concerned.

Dear FD:

This is where the party ends
I can't stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you, but I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend

It was the loveliest party that I've ever attended
If anything was broken, I'm sure it could be mended
My head can't tolerate this bobbing and pretending
Listen to some bullet-head and the madness that he's saying

This is where the party ends
I'll just sit here wondering how you, can stand by your racist friend
I know politics bore you, but I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
You and your racist friend

This is where the party ends
I can't stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you, but I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend

Out from the kitchen, to the bedroom, to the hallway
Your friend apologizes, he could see it my way
He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking
Can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding

This is where the party ends
I can't stand here listening to you
And your racist friend
I know politics bore you, but I feel like a hypocrite talking to you
And your racist friend

See.....that's how easy is it for people to clearly understand the words she is singing......unlike the crap singers who just make a noise while swallowing the microphone.

I can clearly understand what that piss head drug fucked Shane McGowan sings.

.....Duck never gets to the Dog!

Did you notice the bare patch track around the rock. They have obviously been doing that for quite a duration.

Of other interest, what did the Duck reckon it was gonna actually do to the Dog if it ever caught up?

Yeah it looks like they've been at it before. Silly sausages.

Who knows the minds of ducks anyway? I think they tend to have a pretty good time though ... :bgrin
