Particles, high energy neutrinos that should not pass through the Earth have been detected coming from Antarctica. Could be the Standard Model of nuclear physics is about to fall apart.

Physics is just another concept dreamed up be humanity, in the reality of the universe it means nothing and it not what they think it is. Nuclear physics is going in the wrong direction to what the reality may be, that's why they can't get nuclear fusion to work, it's not what they think it is and the same for all the universe and how it operates, completely wrong.

Trolling again, don't have a clue again, must be pathetic to be so ignorant.

No one knows the truth, only ideological fools claim they do. Almost every day you read physicists, cosmologists and astrophysicists find things which go against what they believe is the case and they have to change their theories. Which is all I'm saying, if you had a logical thinking brain, you'd realise that and it will be that way probably forever.

When you compare the size of our planet and us, compared to the size and complexity of the universe, only cloned fools would claim they know the ultimate facts of how our universe works. The article in question supports my contention, but stupid is as stupid does and your stupidly ignorant rant is a prime example, fully supported by another stupidly ignorant clone.

Always hilarious how clones jump on the bandwagon and try to gang up, even when it makes them look even stupider and really dumb. :rofl :rofl :rofl :thumb

Sensible logical people never claimed the earth was flat and there were maps of a round earth going back many thousands of years, especially from china. Indigenous Aussies always knew the planet was round and revolved around the sun, you just have to look at the moon and the curvature of the earth from a high place or look at the sea to see the reality.

It simply because of their insecurities, and a need to belong to a gang that picks on people to feel being inclusive.

There was a classic case of this type of behaviour at my last place of employment. They were ganging up on this person that worked in my section for quite a few months. It amounted to him talking about committing suicide in front of us.

When I stood up against the rest of the section that was picking on him. I was shocked with his reaction from my interference on his behave.
What really surprised me was, he joined that group and started picking on me!

JS responded in a post mentioning the following "it's the fault of those ideological god nutters".

He doesn’t realise that he is the 'nutter' because of his abnormal attitude!

The majority of humans have a need to believe in something if u look at historical records.

Even our indigenous people have a need to believe in something spiritual, or at a material representation of that spirit.

Why then is Uluru sacred too them, if it wasn’t for some spiritual need by a group of people.

JS must consider that our Indigenous people are all NUTTERS!

Well Dax, I don't agree with you on that. People were simply ignorant.. doesn't mean they were brain-fucked by religion. Easy in hindsight, eh?

Ignorance will seek solace in authority... back then, the only people who could read were Priests. You cannot blame these people from our past for their ignorance....

Sensible people...? oh what ? they never went beyond their lord's domain, but they should have known ??? somehow??

When you lump a group of people into a generalized statement it's bigotry and arrogance, doesn't matter if your talking religion, race, gender or ideology , I find with the biggest bigots when they start a sentence it starts with
I'm not a Bigot (or racist, misogynist , homophobe, etc etc ) but THOSE people ……. and the rant begins...

Those that are blind to their bigotry are the biggest offenders . :purple

You're welcome to disagree, however you may need to study the facts, then you may see that it's really only god nutters who claimed the earth was flat. Name one society throughout history, other than god nutters that claimed the earth was flat. Not even the hindu claims the earth is flat and they have written mythical history going back tens of thousands of years. Mayans, Egyptians, Aus indigenous and probably just about every other society always saw the world as round. god nutters fear reality, that's why they put all their faith in non existent mythologies. Claiming the earth was flat was another way they tried to keep people from going out into the world and discovering the truth and why they slaughtered every indigenous peoples they came across.

Tiresome, good laugh, tiresome to me is the never ending denial of humanity as to the world situation and understanding the universe, many indigenous societies were light years ahead of our current stupidity, which is rapidly destroying the planet,

Science is wrong in everything they believe about the universe and it will be that way forever, because it's way beyond our comprehension. Dark matter could well be another dimension which is beyond our ability to comprehend, just like ants etc have no idea of what our dimensional reality looks like. They see things in their dimensional understanding and most of the world we see, is like dark matter to them. To explain dark energy, picture an ant climbing onto the car, it would have no idea what it is or the energy it produces. It;s the same with our concepts of time and space, and an to travel a few kilometers would see it as the other side of the universe and would take many ant life times to travel that distance. Yet if the ant climbed onto car or bike, it would travel that distance within a very short time, many times much shorter than it's own life time.

Humanity creates concepts, to explain things, then tries to prove they are right and of 9 out of 10 times, their theories fly out the window.

Our universe could be a drop of water falling from a tap, hence it expanding in all directions and when the drop hits the ground our universe will explode. That's no more fanciful than the claim, of the big bang, could be a big drip. Which could account fro the massive number of drop kick drips on the planet. :rofl :rofl :rofl :grn :thumb :hlo

It is indisputable that the majority of mankind has a need to believe in god's or spiritual being, except for the odd few people.
At best, DAX should have mentioned that the majority are gullible. It is what he would determine as the non-gullible, that would be classified as the nut cases.

It’s ironic that all the examples that DAX refers too as having more knowledge about the earth, all believed in some form of gods or spiritual being.

The Christian world, finally copied what the Muslim world knew many centuries ago. And the Muslim's believed in the same GOD as the Christian's and Jews.

I followed the alternative religion in my younger days by attending the Sunday session at the pub and still continue this practice to this day.

As I’m writing this post, I’m partaking in some holy water - the god spirit is manipulating my thoughts and hands on the keyboard. :c :c :c :rofl :rofl

I like the analogy of a drop of water.

We're about to splatter on the r
ocks below. Of course, the concept of time is linear and regimented ..but I suspect there are vacillations in the usual course. The drops might be blown off the rocks, to merge with the pool of clear water below.

Science wouldn’t be science if it wasn’t open to it’s models falling apart.
From my perspective the real problem originates in most scientists believing the simplest (they call it the most ‘elegant’) solution is always the right one. Why it should be has never been explained.

Yeah, Occam’s razor.

It is a sound guiding principle but it is not a cast-in-concrete law and in nuclear physics it may even be hobbling research. When you have a quality of “strangeness” in subatomic particles Occam’s Razor may be a straightjacket.
