Yeah :bgrin

I was drinking wine by the bottle (with a friend) while I was there, but decided to try just one lager.

I ended up having 4 over lunch :hush

I had a Peroni tonight.

Not bad.

Reminded me a lot of drinking a Corona.

A better Mexican beer is a Cerveza Negra Modelo, a dunkel or dark lager. Introduced to Mexico during the time the Austrians ruled Mexico.

No new beer but some new beer glasses. In shape a bigger champagne flute with a rather shorter stem. Nice. Even better, the glass has been cut down low in a nice pattern. Also bought a handcarved wooden figurine, apparently a Danish (professional) fisherman but always reminded me of Bill Sykes, the murderous burglar from “Oliver Twist.” Had had my eye on the carving for a while, when I walked in to the shop today. . .it wasn’t there! Found it a bit later in a different room. Thought I better bye it before it really got sold.

Glasses and carving put on layby—want the max money on me in Tassie.

Drinking a Deschutes Fresh Squeezed right now. Notes of grapefruit. It tastes like they squeezed hop juice right into the bottle.

Aussie, if you ever get a chance to buy some, don't bother trying it. Take it over to John's house or Greggery's house, and let them have it. Bongalong too.

No, I like it! It's VERY hoppy. So hoppy I drink it in small amounts per gulp as compared to other beers. Aussie would probably have heart failure if he tried it. :roll

I looked in the fridge, and I only had two beers left - a Mirror Pond and a Mirror Pond. Well that narrows my choices. Oh dear me, what shall I do????
