There was a film that I meant to go and watch.

Most of the early NASA spacecraft would never have taken off except for black women really good at mathematics. These were NASA’s first “computers” which used to mean person who computed i.e. used mathematics.

Did any of these brilliant black women get recognition and appropriate recompense? Don’t be silly.

Your daughter is brilliant and that is great. Not all the doors that should open for her WILL actually open for her.

10 questions ... 10 points brilliantly made on a wide range of issues of gender disparity... but we're stuck talking about maths because Narcissus caught sight of his own reflection and got distracted.

Yes HBSGuy - that's the Movie I was trying to remember. Great film. There are even more 'women' from that era who really could do the maths.

Well Mothra. I do see what you are pointing out in Gordo's posts. Funny that I never noticed? Maybe he doesn't affect me as much as you? But yes - you are right Mothra. Yep - she's right Gordo, got a good eye on you. :rofl

50 years ago but in my world in 2018 I'm just not seeing this. And doors don't magically open for many people be they equipped with penises or vaginas.

You have to get tough and kick the motherfucken doors down, and that's what I teach her.

Whatchu talking about? The answer pops up as soon as you submit your guess?

Whole thing takes a couple of minutes and it's utterly stupid-proof.

Plus, the MRA answers are hilarious.

Ima with you pinkeye. But.....just went back and had another look. If you are really smart (you and I are clearly not) if you stay within the bloody contents of the Link as you scroll down, and not outside as I did, you get a highlight on an answer option. So. I'll go give it another attempt. Stupid set up!

I'd say it was 100% :bgrin

Mind you I did change one answer between quiz one and quiz two. nevertheless I say

Score = 100%

Oh I just see JS reply. SO if I didn't answer the Guardian Q I haven't answered ALL the questions.??

I answered ALL the others and hit the SUBMIT BOTTON twice. I didn't answer the question about the Guardian .

OH I'm just repeating the information in case once, twice, three times wasn't enought to get an answer.

It has been noted before that I am very literal in my interpretation of languuge.
