a friend of my sisters used to give her three kids 'cup a noodles' every single day for lunch. When my sister asked her one day why she never changed, the answer was cause they were cheap

friggen tight arses already owned 3 houses and hubby was making over $2k a week, and this was 15yrs ago.

Nobody tighter than rich people.

The mother of one of the American multimillionaires would stand at the newsagents and read the paper there then leave—not buying the paper.

They didn’t get rich buying overpriced garbage at maccas!

They are teaching their kids good habits really!

That’s probably what the three houses were for!!!

with 2 minute noodles? it's only healthy if you have it without the flavouring they put in it. That flavouring is all salt and msg's

I put in half!

If my mates mum didn’t insist in only putting in half the flavouring when we were kids I would probably always put in the whole lot! So, yes, you only need less than half because it’s just so salty !!

But, you got me,... she’s not really teaching great habits at all!

I suppose expedience is a necessary evil at times so maybe practicality is being taught but the salt in those things is a worry, definitely! And once you’re addicted then that is all English cooking is: bloody salt and pepper!
