(How the hell do you have clips appear in here without having the link displayed?)

Can people see this?

(I can, Mac laptop.)

Need to update the phpBB software. Can only think you did some Windoze10 update or something.

I run the lastest Mac software on all my gear.

WOW that woman has a voice.!.
Don't think I saw anything from you HBS Guy.

I don't usually have probs on here viewing the vids... the ones from youtube, anyway.
If they have been there a long time.. sometimes not.

Thanks always to those who put it up to be seen.

I use the cheapest Microsoft Windows 10. Absolutely nothing special . I have better things to do than to spend so much time looking at a screen.

But music … I need to integrate it back into my life.

Thing is, being alert most of the time, I like to hear what's happening on my street. Only locals, or sightseers or tradies or the posty come down my street. I know most of the sounds of the area.. and I always find it GOOD to have that peace and quiet....

I haven't tuned-in my radio even.. too much NOISE.

But every now and then I do want to hear things. I have noticed a prevalence of old songs ,huge, now being used as advertising jingles.
I guess it is due to the copywright running out. 25 yrs isn't it.?

These days all the music seems largely derivative and/or attempts to copy others.

I must listen again to one of my many CDs. I have quite a few, that I bought , up until about 2000 AD.
Since then just about nothing.

Perhaps I'll go classical/opera.

Delete the 's' from 'fttps' seems to fix it.

Did that but it made no difference.

There's a glitch of some sort. Many of us can't see youtubes. There used to be a way around that but it seems to have dried up on us.

I can't see them either, if that's any comfort.

We've been nagging Monk to try an d do something about it for ages.

That "high risk" thing isn't there anymore.

I used to be able to click on that and everything was fine, but there's nothing to click anymore.

Very strange.

Same here.

Hmm.

Strange.

Monk: did you upgrade/change something?

Thank you Mothra. I haven't heard any of that for so long. It reminds of my youth :bgrin
Well thanks for finding it.

Have got to the age where it is easier to remember 50 yrs ago, rather than what happened yesterday. :bgrin

I was probably one of the kids in the crowd. Fun times, it was, in the early seventies.

The days of yore, when a single track could go to 10 mins + , with massive Guitar and Drum solos.
Impossible to imagine today. :purple :bgrin

Question for you..? Did you enjoy Black and Blue..? and as the child I was it seemed very sophisticated at the time.

I thought it was a great song, and hearing it now, I still do. A bit ...?
Remember that was back in the 70's.

I've not heard of Mabel but had a quick look ... not really doing anything for me but i can't hear her acoustic as you have.

Maybe you'll like this? Billie Eilish. Doing some really interesting things, albeit through mumble rap.

oh yeah...

because i'm awake I get to see late stuff.. and have you heard

Mabel.?

She has a couple of songs , live on The Loop.. Ch 10. It repeats.

I think she is fantastic.

She sits on a stool, which doesn't look very comfortable, dressed in RED, with a guitarist as backing.
Unassuming.. but she delivers. !

Don't Call Me Up ( I'm over you)

Mad Love.

Go Mabel. :thumb

Hey Mothra.. do you remember the old days... ?

Not the 60s so much, as the 70's.?

Does the name Chain, or Matt Taylor mean anything to you.?

I can STILL remember some of the music...

I actually bought them , on VINYL.

One of the songs went..

" I remember when I was young and the earth went round the Sun and we were happy." Umm near enough.. long time ago now.

.. they had some great songs....kind of bluesy/folksy/rock.!! Harmonicas and all.

Black and Blue ..comes to mind, but I just cannot remember the song ..it was the 'single', from the LP. :bgrin
