I just checked it out, but Netflix doesn't have the first three seasons.

They only have seasons 4,5,6, and 7.

That's a bit of a bummer.

That blows. You really do need the first couple of seasons to set the tone. Bloody Netflix. Hopefully they'll add them sooner or later.

It's crazy.

I went back to double check it this morning, but sure enough, the first three seasons are missing.

I might watch the new limited series instead - Unbelievable, with Toni Collette.

The only reason i;m pimping season 7 is because like the seasons before it, it mirrors what's going on with US intelligence. Highly topical.

Okay. I'll give it a go.

"US intelligence" Lol :bgrin

I haven't seen that.

I'm half way through The Spy, with Sasha Baron Cohen (playing a very straight role).

Really good.

I saw that. Thanks, i'll give it a look.

Homeland is serious quality. I reckon more than a few of the folks on Ozpol could do with watching it too.

About CIA involvement in the Middle East for most of it. Last season about threats closer to home for them, very interestingly.

Timely viewing.

Season 1 trailer:

And season 7 trailer:

Wow! Seven seasons!!! :b

I prefer the short, limited series, but I'll give it a go.

Yeah.

She lived in Adelaide.

She's great in 'Too Late'.

I'm chuffed lately, I finally have Netflix, daughter put her account up and running on my tv to show me how it all works.
So many movies to watch, I think I spend half hour looking at the titles of most of them!

One thing isn't on Netflix, a mini tv series (season 1 and season 2) of Timeless.
So I bought them instead, was tired of missing it on tv due to being on at odd times, and then repeating some of the shows
I already seen. What a farce that is.

What I like about Timeless, it's a time travelling show, but with true historical facts in the mix. I find myself checking google on my phone
about the people and their achievements in history, and yes, it is all true and correct.

I think watching a show like time travelling, or any science fiction show, or comedy, as it tends to help one get the mind away from any stress.

The acting is great all round. Pope is terrifying too.

Yeah, great acting and great characters.

I found out yesterday that the girl who plays Frankie is an Australian, and she used to be in Neighbours.

Saw her in an amazing movie on Netflix (I think) where she speaks with her normal Australian accent.

The movie is 'Too Late'.

The scenes are all one take, and they run for about 20 minutes with no cuts. Amazing stuff.

Shame, i got all excited there for a moment. There's some good stuff advertised.

I'll not be continuing it after my free trial runs out.

I like Prime for the Amazon Music.

It's the same as Spotify, but no ads.

Love it :)

Just watched 'The Insult' on Stan. Absolutely excellent. Set in Lebanon where a minor dispute blows out to a national crisis.

Really interesting insight into the socio-poitical threads of Lebanon and into their justice system. Highly recommend it.

"This series, loosely based Philip K. Dick's novel of the same name, takes a look at what the world might look like had the outcome of World War II turned out differently. In this dystopian scenario, the Axis powers won the war, leading to the United States being divided into three parts, an area controlled by the Japanese, a Nazi-controlled section, and a buffer zone between the two. Despite the oppression, a new hope emerges when films turn up that seem to show a different world. A woman believes the films contain the key to freedom and is determined to find their mysterious guardian."

I might check it out on the weekend.

Have you watched Man in the High Castle?

And yes that movie was brilliant, more so for the fact that it was a true story.

High Castle? No.

Is it good?

Very. It supposes a world in which Japan and Germany united to win the war, then divided the world between them. Set in America where the resistance is working against Germany. Only one season.
