I have activated an account called “realele”

ele was a member of the very first version of PA, back when it was a ABC then JJJ forum. She is a member already but doubtless forgot and forgot her password etc :bgrin

Welcome back, ele! You will find it a bit bigger and more active than it used to be. AG still visits sometimes as Cherie or Agnes, Lefty has disappeared I don’t know why and Celly/Ethnic has left as well.

Scarlett, you can have my car park by the first tee: I think golf is more boring than cricket so I never use it! Shit, I never even go to the 19th hole because I would have to listen to ughh! golf stories!

Welcome!

hi there Scarlett- lovely to have you with us-

Hi, I have been dragged into this forum by my hair, promised the world, free parking... Vision's return, but clearly Aussie couldn't reboot him... we'll see about the parking.

I'm about 50 min outside Melbourne, did live in Brisbane for a number of years and... look forward to posting here :)

You are confusing me. 'Vision's return.'

???????

:beer

Monk, I did promise Scarlet the car park beside the 1st tee. Please facilitate.

(Monk is The Boss, Scarlet. He moonlights here as HBS Guy.)

Ha. I now have the answer. Let's see if anyone else is as dumb as I am.

:bgrin

Thank you very much and hello, fellas. Y’all sound a little funny to me and for years I had this burning question - how do you all walk around on your heads and how come your skippy burgers do not fall out of your mouths when you eat them? :Hi

I still haven't figured out why their poo goes up when they flush the toilet. The water spins the opposite way because they are looking at it from the bottom.

Welcome aboard.

I’ve actually spent a fair amount of time here when I was much younger... once landed in Brisbane in summer 1988 without making hotel reservations... the closest room I could find was in a Surfers Paradise!

Why, do you ask? The World Fair, of which I was not aware.

That'd be Expo. Yes, not surprising that the nearest was the Gold Coast. That time when Brisbane was really not as well equipped as it is now to handle a large influx.

An expo indeed it was.
