Jaybuz......how many hours per how many weeks went into that!!!!! Incredible choreography as well.

They practiced 6-8 hours/day for 3 weeks until school started. Once school started in late August, they practiced about 12-15 hrs per week before and during school.

I really look forward to their concert season. My son also plays in the jazz band and they do the really cool music. Since my son is now first chair, he will get a lot of solos. Next jazz performance is in mid December, but the Spring concert is always better because they are not so tied to Christmas music and have more time to practice with marching season behind them.

Regional qualifying is soon and if he makes it, he gets to play with the best in North Texas and they put on a good show. He was an alternate last year.

I'm very proud of him and he looks handsome in his tuxedo.

Hahahaha! That was a different way of hearing some of the classics. All very well played. well done!

I wonder how Mozart would have liked hearing his overture played by a brass band? Dad did say you could always hear a “Oompa oompa oompapa” brass band under his music.

That's a very moving song, mothra. I've heard it before. When my son was on his first combat deployment, he took a lot of pictures. He had his laptop, and he combined his pictures with some others his mates had taken and then dropped it all onto a DVD and sent it home. It was set to this music ...
