You understand the point, yeah?

Life isn’t all roses and sunsets, Sprint.

That's a definite opener to a season 3. Another round of torture.

Which I think is a bad thing.

That is the religious right tho, Sprint!

I approved the Sprintcyclist account—want me to delete that?

I started to watch it, dislike the 'storyline' and anti-female attitude in it.

Yeah, more to do with Hannah than the other Handmaidens.

Scathing. Not without merit but i feel the finer nuances of season 2 were lost on the author (who chose not to name themselves i see).

One of the key drivers of the show is impotence. I feel very much that what we witnessed in season 2 was the meeting of that impotence with resistance; by Offred (who must use facial features to convey emotion because she is deprived of words); by Emily; by the Marthas ... even by the Serena Joy and her cronies.

And i believe the ending - which i won't spoil for Greg - had more to do with Hannah than super hero delusions.

A very cynical review, in my opinion.

Download and burn CDs recklessly, suck that data down!

Satellite sucks, especially with NBN using it to save money on FTTN. You must live somewhere remote, like 10Km from the CBD!

I've finished the first season of Marcella now.

Maybe season 2 of THT now.

I can't get enough Nordic Noir. It's just so damn excellent. Be interesting to see a Swedish/UK collaboration. The Brits are no slouches when it comes to quality telly.

And yet we're saturated in American drivel.

I watched Animal Kingdom as you recommended. Very good but it didn't capture the creepiness of the movie. Ellen Barkin is fabulous but Jackie Weaver did things with that role that get you in the childhood. And Pope isn't as scary as Ben Mendelsohn, who made my skin crawl. In fact, Pope is, i consider, the least fucked up of the lot of them. In the first series they fiddled around with his mental health a bit but then it seems they just forgot about it.

Oh :sad

I'll get on to it after Marcella.

Or maybe this weekend.

Yeah it's brutal. No respite. An episode 3 weeks ago came with a content warning. It was required.

Good find with Marcella though. By the maker of The Bridge, I'll put it on the list.

Oh yeah, Marcella is GREAT!

I still haven't started the second series of THT yet.

Started watching Marcella on Netflix, and can't stop now!
