There was a huge, a colossal statue of Nero by the amphitheatre, that is where the name Colosseum/Coliseum came from.

My authority? Robert Graves “I Claudius.”

So I get to ask another question? Oh boy!

How can you get near infinite storage space and all the application software you need without needing a humungous computer in your home or office?

The cloud is correct.

This board is sort of like the cloud: renting space on a server, it came with the software needed like php, CPanel, MySQL, Apache etc. ThenI have some space on Apple’s server, iCloud.

This may be too easy, especially if you have a newer car. On the center console of my car is a button that says "Auto Hold".

What does it do?

your question was deceptive ... you asked what the Colloseum was ... not what was there before the current colloseum was built:whacks bum

Not deceptive, the statue and the stadium were there at the same time. It was the statue was colossal, not the stadium.

hold the car on hillstarts
Close enough. It's not just for hill starts though. I use it all the time. With Auto Hold on you can stop, and then with a little pressure on the brake pedal after you've come to a full stop, Auto Hold is engaged (a light on the dash confirms it), and you can take your foot off the brake pedal, and the car's brakes stay on until you apply some throttle. This would be really handy on a hill in a car with a manual transmission, but mine is an automatic. It's still nice because I don't have to hold the brake pedal down while waiting for a red light, or if I ever find myself in stop and go traffic.

That it wasn't the Colosseum but SOMETHING other than that.

New manual cars have this and automatically works for a few seconds if the car is on a angle... you have to learn not to let the clutch out too fast or you stall it, very handy once you get used to it though.

I have never heard of this.

Neat, prevents rolling back when stopped at intersection or rail crossing.
