US Terrorist Attack

Really?

The only difference between me and those politicians is that I would vote to impeach and remove Trump if he had any real time left on his term. But I would never do it for self-serving political reasons which is why they are doing it.
You're wrong, Seth.

They're doing it for security reasons, and to protect American democracy.

It's not about removing him from office, it's about making sure he can never run again.

I've explained to you what will happen, yet you just don't seem to understand.

He must be impeached and then found guilty in the Senate.

If he isn't, and he's allowed to run a Presidential campaign for 2024, last Wednesday's terrorist attack will look like a church picnic compared to what will happen.

They SAY they’re doing all kinds of noble things. Just ask them!

You don't have to listen to them.

Just listen to your own common sense.

Forget the Dems.

Now, focus.

What do you think will happen if Trump is allowed to run for President again?

Not win, jut run. Four years of campaigning, and then he LOSES.

How do you think that will work out?

House debates resolution calling on vice president to invoke 25th Amendment
The House is now debating a resolution calling on Mike Pence to strip Trump of his powers by involving the 25th Amendment.
Congress is expected to vote on the measure at around 7:30 local time, and it’s expected to pass. It calls on Pence to “immediately” call on the cabinet to declare Trump unfit for office. But Pence is unlikely to do so, having given no signal that he will.
If Pence does not respond to Congress within 24 hours, representatives will start impeachment proceedings tomorrow.

they haven't impeached him though......It's up to Pence.....will he do the right thing or be a self serving politician.....
Interesting. No predictions this time. I think Nancy hopes he won't do it, so that might be a good reason to do it.

Don't talk to terrorist sympathizers, Greggy.

I just saw news that Pence has written a letter to Pelosi saying he won't invoke the 25th.
well pence just made it political... Trumps stooge to the end.....

Representative Fred Upton of Michigan has joined three other House Republicans in saying he’ll vote to impeach Donald Trump.

Liz Cheney
, the third-highest ranking GOP representative has also said she’ll vote to impeach. But her colleagues, Freedom Caucus chair Andy Biggs representative Matt Rosendale are calling on Cheney to step down from party leadership. Rosendale, a freshman congressman of Montana said Cheney is“weakening our conference at a key moment for personal political gain and is unfit to lead.”
  • Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has told colleagues that he believes Trump committed impeachable offenses, according to the New York Times. McConnell has also said he is glad the House is moving forward with impeachment because he thinks it will make it easier to push Trump out of the Republican party.

it looks like Trump is finally unifying USA with his impeachment.....Now the first and third leaders of GOP agree

"Last week, I did not yield to pressure to exert power beyond my constitutional authority to determine the outcome of the election," Pence said to the speaker in an evening letter. "And I will not now yield to efforts in the House of Representatives to play political games at a time so serious in the life of our nation."

"Just a few months ago, when you introduced legislation to create a 25th Amendment Commission, you said, [a] President’s fitness for office must be determined by science and facts'," Pence wrote. "You said that we must be very respectful of not making a judgment on the basis of a comment or behavior that we don’t like, but based on a medical decision.

"Madam Speaker you were right," the vice president added.

Pence urged her to reconsider pushing forward with actions that he believes would further "divide and inflame the passions of the moment."

And yet, shortly after he was inaugurated, Trump stated that he wasn’t interested in reopening the Hillary email investigation when many believed that her crimes had been whitewashed by a friendly, politically motivated FBI and DOJ.

because like all his claims that the election was stolen, his 'Crooked Hillary'crap was all based on lies. As I recall, Hillary had been cleared of wrong doing several times.

I would agree to Trump’s removal if there was any real time left on his term. But there isn’t, and what’s happening now is a political feeding frenzy. I can say with absolute certainty that if everything was the same, but it was Hillary instead of Trump, I would be saying the exact same thing. And you know how I feel about her.
Again, it's not just about removing him.

Keep in mind that you are interacting with one who does not believe people like Pelosi or Schumer, will EVER act in the interest of the country.
so you're biased before they even start. You've written off whatever they do just because you don't like them.

The cancer you speak of has an expiration date of 8 days from now, and an impeachment must never be used for political reasons.
there is no expiration date in 8 days. There is NOTHING to stop him running again in 2024. That you 'believe' he won't is irrelevant. You can't guarantee he won't. An impeachment can. It is purely politics that he is still there. If the republicans had done their job the first time he was impeached instead of playing politics, he would have been gone a long time ago.

If Joe follows through with his call for healing and unity, I’ll give him respect for that. If he doesn’t, I’ll call him out for his first lie as President.
Unity and healing does not mean Trump suffers no repercussions for his actions. Thats something else you're thinking off. You're playing politics.

Another case worthy of review is Hillary’s. She deliberately broke the rules regarding classified information, she deliberately destroyed evidence, and she lied to the American people about it.
and yet not a word of complaint when trump and his daughter used their private email for govt. business Oops

@johnsmith I just hate the hypocrisy of it.

But I agree he has to go.

Honestly, Trump brought this on himself, but these political hyenas are not the good guys either.

there are no good guys in politics. It's all politics. Don't pretend the republicans supporting trump has anything to do with 'whats right' over politics. If they'd done what was right in the first place we wouldn't be in this position.

Check out some of the things the Trump terrorists have been charged with:

Lonnie Coffman, of Alabama, was charged on Jan. 7, 2021, with possession of an unregistered firearm (destructive device) and carrying a pistol without a license. It is alleged that Coffman’s vehicle contained 11 explosive devices known as Molotov cocktails and firearms. It is further alleged he was in possession of two firearms. Coffman was arrested and is currently being held. His detention hearing is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2021.

Christopher Alberts, of Maryland, was charged on Jan. 7, 2021, with carrying or having readily accessible, on the grounds of the United States Capitol Building, a firearm and ammunition. Specifically a Taurus G2C, 9mm handgun and 9mm caliber ammunition. The defendant appeared in district court and was released. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 28, 2021.

In addition, approximately 40 individuals have been arrested and charged in Superior Court with offenses including, but not limited to, unlawful entry, curfew violations, and firearms-related crimes.

Just peaceful protesters my arse.

Okay so if I’m understanding this hearing correctly, Bill Clinton's biggest mistake wasn't lying about a b l o w job –– it was neglecting to have his supporters threaten to burn down the country if he was impeached.

Trump is about to be impeached for the second time - it's happening right this minute.

He'll be the only President in history to be impeached twice.

Can you imagine the violence and mayhem his children, Rudy, and the cult followers are about to unleash on the country?

Such a shame.

The US used to be a great country, but in four short years he has completely destroyed it.
