U.S. Elections

I assure you, Seth. I am no0t "hypersensitive" to being condescended to. I simply do not like it. I think you will find most people don't. It remains that by owing of you trying "really hard" not to condescend to me you either have become accustomed to authority or you do not see me as an equal. Possibly both. Whatever, the problem is yours not mine.

As to the subtext, i've made that quite clear. In all of your lashings about about hypocrisy, you will hold a Biden administration to a higher scrutiny than you've held Trump.
I think of you as intelligent and informed, certainly not the lesser of me. I am opinionated, however, and after the last time I accidentally offended you, I have tried not to do that again.

I have criticized Trump many times, mostly for his personal characteristics. I expect to do the same with Biden. I think he is corrupt, and I think he lies a lot. And if the Democrats win the Senate, we are in for a real shit show. At least they’re going to give us a lot to talk and debate about.

  • The number of US coronavirus cases surpassed 8 million, which is more than any other country in the world. The US reported 63,610 new coronavirus cases yesterday, marking the highest single-day total since mid-August.
  • Despite those alarming statistics, Trump again claimed the country is “rounding the turn” in its coronavirus crisis.
Also 900 dead...

Trump lies so much no one even bothers to worry about it anymore.... What a great example for kids wanting to be president....

Dunno.

Not a chance. I think we'll be hearing from Donald Trump a lot in the future as the former President.

Dunno.
I predict he won't concede defeat - ever.

And, he'll never congratulate Joe.

I think he'll say "I never really wanted a second term anyway. I've done more in one term than any leader has in the history of the world - what else is there for me to do?"

He'll then slink off into the night like a snake and go in hiding for a year or so.

Won't be long now before we find out. The electoral map may end up looking something like this:

Unless it is an absolute rout, we may not find out until Humpty has run out of legal avenues to dispute his loss. Dunno if they would allow him to take his litigation beyond that date in January 2021 when the victor is due to take over. How bizarre would that be. Bidens wins, Trump litigates, Biden is sworn in while litigation is afoot, Trump wins the litigation.......what then happens....(Yes I know..lots of 'ifs.')

At first, I thought Trump would fight it tooth and nail.

I've changed my mind though.

Ultimately, Trump is a coward. That's his default position.

He won't have the balls to fight it. He's too old, and too sick.

He'll sulk when the result is announced, and then disappear for a while.

I fully expect him to re-emerge in three years though, promoting the Little Jewish Princess as the Republican candidate for 2024.

If there's any litigation, I would expect the courts to act quickly. I don't think the EC vote will be very close, and there will be pressure on Trump to just accept the result and pressure on the courts to act quickly. The only litigation worth the time of day would be if the election hinged on one or two states, the vote in those states was very close, and there is solid evidence of fraud. But I just don't think that's going to happen. I think Biden will win convincingly by a large margin, and litigation would be useless.

And yet if it was Trump’s computer, and I said the same thing you just said ....

See what I mean?
Ok lets turn it around...

one of Trumps kids last year dropped off a laptop full of incriminating evidence and then forgets about it.

A year later the shop owner looks at the contents , makes a copy and sends it to Bidens lawyers.

When the owner is questioned he cant positively identify which Trumps kid because he is blind but knows it's trumps kid because it has a Trump Foundation sticker on it...

how much credit would you give this information @SethBullock

about the same FOX news did ????

While Trump paid just $750 in U.S. federal income taxes in 2017, he has paid:

- $188,561 in taxes to China
- $156,824 in taxes to the Philippines
- $145,400 in taxes to India
- $15,598 in taxes to Panama

And Trump wants us to believe he puts America first? What a hypocrite!

To be fair, nobody believes that.

Because, undoubtedly, they show how little he actually paid ... because of laws passed by Congress about depreciation and losses.

And, he has always known that they would be used against him by the very Democrats that passed those laws ... just as they have done.

And, because he is an American citizen with the same rights to privacy as any other American.

I wonder if Joe Biden will come clean about the money his son paid him from the deals his father, the Vice President, got for him from China.

Don't hold your breath. (Hunter says it was half.)
