U.S. Elections

“Here’s the deal: Hurricanes don’t swerve to avoid red states or blue states. Wildfires don’t skip towns that vote a certain way. The impacts of climate change don’t pick or choose,” Biden said. “That’s because it’s not a partisan phenomenon. It’s science.”

Biden once again argued Trump had “failed the most basic duty to a nation” because he had failed to protect the American people.

“This is another crisis, another crisis that he won’t take responsibility for,” Biden said, comparing Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic to his response to climate change.

Once again Trump show he only cares about himself :ROFLMAO: 😅

Trump dismissed concerns about the possible spread of coronavirus at his indoor rally in Nevada this weekend. “I’m on a stage and it’s very far away,” the president told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “And so I’m not at all concerned.” But that comment did not address the threat posed to the thousands of Trump supporters who attended the rally in Henderson, Nevada.

It is an indoor rally, the 1.5m social distancing rule doesn’t really apply: a sneeze or cough can spread the virus a lot further.

Typical Trump tho: only cares about himself.

as if thrumpy cares about anyone else
He's a sociopath - he's not capable of caring about others.

He killed his own brother with COVID, and still only managed to give a 10 minute eulogy at his funeral.

Just let that sink in for a minute.

He said his brother was his best friend, and that he loved him dearly.

Despite that, he could only manage to spare ten minutes out of his day for his funeral, and didn't even shed a single tear.

The ad was made by the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, and shows three shadowy soldiers walking underneath a fighter jet. Aviation expert Pierre Sprey, who helped design both the F-16 and A-10 planes for the U.S. Air Force, said: “That’s definitely a MiG-29... I’m glad to see it’s supporting our troops.” Ruslan Pukhov, director of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies in Moscow, confirmed that the planes are indeed Russian-made MiG-29s, and also pointed out that the soldier on the far right is wielding a Soviet AK-74 assault rifle.

Scientific American is America’s oldest continuously published magazine. For 175 years, it has provided its readers with news and information about the world of science but never allowed itself to stray into the the parallel universe known as politics. But the current political situation in America — which sees the entire US government overthrown by anti-science know nothings who substitute political doctrine for scientific inquiry — has convinced the magazine’s editorial board to break with tradition and endorse one of the candidates in the current campaign for president. Their choice is Joe Biden.

Trump really is that bad

“A 175-year tradition is not something you break lightly,” editor in chief Laura Helmuth tells the Washington Post. “We’d love to stay out of politics, but this president has been so anti-science that we can’t ignore it.”

I read the quote today and it's definitely food for thought..

You might say that Obama election was the final straw for many. MAGA is a nice phase for - go back to when white hetero men had all the power and could do what they want with woman, children, and all the lower races. Having a man of color living in white house was more than they could stand.

Black people comprise only 13% of our population. So who do you suppose voted Obama into office ... twice?

The outcomes of our elections are determined by independents.

There are a lot of reasons why Trump was elected in 2016, but the fact that Obama is black is not one of them.

Bit of useless trivia.

I got myself, from the USA, a genuine MAGA Cap which I wear for the first nine holes when I play golf. That one was made in Chi-Na. I also got, from the USA, another red one which has on it, 'On Nov 3rd, flush the turd.' Also made in Chi-na. So, during the first nine I get asked 'WTF...why?" I bullshit about that. Then, on the second nine, out comes the other.....and much laughter.
