I have to take us back to Trump being quoted as calling Armed Services people.................. losers and suckers.

I have NO doubt this is truth. It is what he has displayed throughout his tenure, this sort of contempt. He has never thought of anyone but himself.
Oh, it's the truth alright.

He's displayed utter contempt for the armed forces his entire life.

And let's not forget, he's a five-time draft dodger.

Interestingly the others in the plane at the time haven't come and rushed to give statements that Trump didn't say these things... I wonder why not ????
If your president was falsely accused of something wouldn't you rush to the press to put the story right....

also of note is that Trump almost ALWAYS threatens to sue when someone makes up some crap about him.... but in this case he hasn't. Could it be because the newspaper would be required to prove it'scase and he'd rather they don't?

Boom!

You nailed it.

He's knows that if it goes to court the truth will be revealed.

i.e. he said exactly what has been reported.

Donald Trump is many, many things but above all, he is the quintessential coward.

The US justice department is seeking to take over Donald Trump’s defense in a defamation lawsuit from a writer who accused him of rape, and federal lawyers asked a court on Tuesday to allow a move that could put the American people on the hook for any money she might be awarded.

After New York state courts turned down Trump’s request to delay E Jean Carroll’s suit, justice department lawyers filed court papers on Tuesday aiming to shift the case into federal court and to substitute the US for Trump as the defendant. That means the federal government, rather than Trump himself, might have to pay damages if any are awarded.

What the Fuck ?????? Does that mean trump wont go to jail as well if found guilty....

I don't know the first thing about this case, but I just wanted to say that you can't go to jail as a result of a civil lawsuit.

I'm trying to understand why the federal government are taking over being the defendant...
doesn't Trump have enough money to defend himself ?
I suppose he does have to pay for his presidential campaign... poor bugger....

I don't know, Don. The answer to that question is above my pay grade. Could be there's some law about suing a sitting president, but I don't know anything about it.

Maybe he could set up a charity and steal the money from that for his own personal use. Get his children to help.

Maybe call it the Donald J. Trump Foundation and tell everyone that the funds raised will be distributed to various charitable causes, but instead use the money to pay off his own business debts and to finance his presidential campaign.

Oh, wait a minute ... he's already done that.

"President Trump has paid $2 million to eight charities as part of a settlement in which the president admitted he misused funds raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to promote his presidential bid and pay off business debts, the New York State attorney general said on Tuesday."

President Trump has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize

President Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for helping broker a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, according to a report.

Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament and chairman of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, submitted the nomination, Fox News reported.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde told Fox News.

In his letter to the Nobel Committee, Tybring-Gjedde wrote that the Trump administration has played a key role in the establishment of relations between the two nations.

“As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game-changer that will turn the Middle East into a region of cooperation and prosperity,” he wrote, Fox News reported.

Tybring-Gjedde also cited Trump’s “key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and … creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, such as the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan, and the conflict between North and South Korea, as well as dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea.

And he lauded the president for withdrawing a large number of forces from the Middle East.

“Indeed, Trump has broken a 39-year-old streak of American Presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed conflict. The last president to avoid doing so was Peace Prize laureate Jimmy Carter,” he wrote.

The president last month made the announcement of the historic peace agreement that would pave the way for full normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE.

With the agreement, the UAE becomes the third Arab country, after Egypt and Jordan, to have full diplomatic ties with the Jewish state.

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, who is married to first daughter Ivanka Trump, helped orchestrate the deal.

Since the deal was made public, Israel signaled that it is willing to explore business opportunities with the UAE, specifically in the areas of commercial space and high tech.

Trump allies have previously suggested the possibility of a Nobel in response to his negotiations with North Korea.

So was Adolph Hitler.

Just for your information, the person who has nominated Trump (for a second time) is a far-right white supremacist extremist who hates all immigrants (especially Muslims), is a climate change denier, and strongly supports everything Vladimir Putin does.

Not hard to see why he likes Trump.

Did he give any reasons for the nomination that weren't true?

out of all the thousands of politicians around the world, one obscure man from Norway voted for Trump to have a Nobel peace prize.....
wasn't he also the one lone man last year that did the same ?

I really do doubt if trump would even know where this mans country is on a Atlas....

“He waved the white flag. He walked away, he didn’t do a damn thing, think about it, and it’s almost criminal,” Biden told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview scheduled to be aired in full on Thursday afternoon.

Foreign ministers from the UK, France and Germany have agreed to hold out against US demands to snapback all UN sanctions on Iran, despite intensified pressure from the US specifically on the UK government to fall into line.
The US was left isolated at the UN security council last month when it said it wished to reimpose snapback sanctions, with the European nations – known collectively as the E3 – arguing that the US was no longer a participant in the deal and so unable to act unilaterally. The US, which left the deal in 2018, described the E3 position as crackers and pandering to terrorists. A further showdown on the issue at the UN is expected this month.

This is the real Trump.......and no one is playing.......
