Still airing it out,. Phew.

Well to get back to reality. an update on the Dead Rat Stuck in the Fan saga.

Had to take it in to a fella.. who arranged for it to be removed ( the fan assembly and the Fan switch connection... I couldn't undo the screws.. too tight. )
... was cleaned and another smell was introduced. Still smells .. of multiple things now...

So I was told to keep the air con off, but run the fan at full blast ( the only option that works anyway)
when I drive to help disperse the smell. Yeah right.


I await a couple of cheap parts, and I'll have to pay labour, but I couldn't do it myself.

In lockdown but happy to wear a mask...!!!.

My 4 weeks work has caught up with me—arms and (bung) shoulders sore as fuck.

Drive back yesterday uneventful except detour because the M1/M80 were closed due to the Yarra Tunnel project.

Other than that, on one of the overtaking lanes where oncoming traffic can use one lane if “both oncoming lanes are clear” this idiot shot past me going the other way—illegally as I was in one of the oncoming lane and rather closer than normal highway separation—at very high speed. Got the pulse rate up a bit.

Baby wipes helped keep me cool—so cheap, useful!

when I look back on some of the stupid things I've done whilst driving, I have no idea how I made it to my young age.

I burned off quite a lot of fallen branches grass clipping etc two days ago.. good but it was still going yesterday morn so I chucked a foil wrapped spud in for about an hour... had a fire baked spud with all interesting trimmings yesterday a.m.

It's still hot this morning.!! but I had a nice boiled egg .. so no more spud... BUT


Nothing better to reduce bad smells than Charcoal.!! Nice fresh charcoal... so.. I have placed 3 flat containers of it inside my car. It should work good.

Only thought of it this morning... I have a saucer of charcoal in my fridge.. best ever deoderant.....
SO... hoping it will work in the car.

But my charcoal is doing the job. Smells a lot better... now have to get the replacement parts ... due to Covid it could take up to max. 5 days.
