What historical facts?
Divorcee, estranged from her Sister, estranged from her Father, entered Royalty only to piss on it by luring 'Haz' to return to the USA with her and his Son, disengagement from 'Duty,' commercialising the gonads in her hands. The absolute reverse of Grace Kelly, for example. That's only so far....much more to come. "Just you wait 'enry 'iggins, just you wait."
Are you cognisant of how absolutely whiny all of that sounds? For instance, what the hell do you you know of her family relationships besides what you've read? She speaks in glowing praise of her father in that clip i posted. If there is dysfunction, there is less evidence to suggest it is her fault than there is to suggest it is any of your business.
And who says Harry isn't an equal in the partnership? I imagine, after losing his mother as he did, he probably didn't need much convincing to pursue a life outside of royalty. Good for hi. It all looks like a drag to me. Why on earth blame Meghan for it?

I suspect a lot of that has to do with the loathing he must have for the British paparazzi .... who were after all responsible for his mothers death

True, but appearing on those talk shows fuels the interest of the paparazzi. Undeniable. They want their cake even after having eating it. You can't have one without the other.
It's not the same. EVERY PAP in the UK was/is after a shot of him or anyone from the royal family. The Americans don't really give a stuff about the royal family. Sure there's a little interest now because his leaving the royal family is so unusual and because of his revcent marriage to Meaghan, but that will pass and with it he will wither away into the same obscurity as thousands of other former celebrities.

Thinking of it all (divisiveness) it’s what we have seen the main royal family do... to Fergy, to Diana...these women were like outcasts.
so Meghan may have been saved that kind of future ordeal by volunteering to be out.
That would take a lot of guts and backlash to do!
like in any family.... just because they’re related or married into family doesn’t mean they have to be bullied into whatever the heirarchy expect.
I don’t sense a freedom within that royal family...
I know certain families like that... it’s their way or the friggin highway....and they are nowhere near royalty.
So how’s that other prince whatshisnamgoing with them allegations of sleeping with underage girls?
Don’t hear about that much anymore.
re: hand on pregnant belly... I consider it a type of connection ... gives a grounding feeling.
I’m not a big fan of any royals but it’s interesting to see how Meghan and Harry go with their bid for paving their own path in life.

She is the 'wrecking ball'... I'd never heard of her before she got engaged to Harry. Seems she was in a TV show in the US. ?
She KNEW what she was marrying into. Oh yes she did.

NOW THAT is what I have thought from the first I heard of the whole thing. I do not have any basis for this.. I don't read mags and I don't watch programs about the Royals.... bit one finds it terribly difficult to avoid Harry and Meghan. don't you know.?

I think they are big attention getters.
it’s competition against the royals because they are/were royals.
instead of living a quiet wealthy life, it’s all guns blazing. Constantly in the limelight and in the faces of the royals.
and mainly because Harry is the youngest son of Diana and that whole tragic thing is why so much attention.
It does look like Harry is a pushover. Was surprised he left the family as he was very close to his grandma HRM.
It’s all surprising and confusing to me.
As for trying to avoid seeing or reading about them or any Royals in any form written or tv...
