The ICC has jurisdiction to probe Israel, Hamas for war crimes, pretrial judges rule

In 2-1 decision, judges determine Palestine is a state, and The Hague can thus investigate there; probe likely to cover 2014 Gaza war, settlement policy, IDF actions on Gaza border

In a major decision released Friday, a pretrial chamber of the International Criminal Court determined that The Hague has jurisdiction to open a criminal investigation against Israel and the Palestinians for war crimes alleged to have taken place in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.

Another controversial subject matter that needs further discussio!

During WW2, Dutch collaborators helped the Germans ship off over 100,000 Dutch Jews to Auschwitz and Sobibor extermination camps where they were murdered.

Now ... Let's put our thinking caps on here, shall we?

If you are an Israeli citizen, are you going to submit ANY of your citizens to a court based in The Netherlands?

it's both sides........
unfortunately there are 2 major factions in Palestine, so the poor people get attacked both from their own people and Israel.....

That is the Israeli propaganda viewpoint. Israel uses propaganda, professional shills, amateur shills, and dupes to deflect attention from its crimes.

You see, Don? Look at the post above. This isn't about Palestinian war criminals. They may say that it's about the Palestinians, but it's just a cover for what they're really interested in.

I'll answer my own question I asked. No, of course not. Given the history, if I were an Israeli I would never submit my citizens to a foreign court in the Netherlands. It's an absurd proposition.

Our govt being a signatory to the IHRA is simply a con job to stifle discussion about the Jewish involvement in the Russian Revolution.

Most of the PM of Israel since 1948 are from the former Soviet Union...Netanyahu isn’t his birth name... his surname sounds Slavic to me!

I wonder if the ICC will bring charges of genocide against China’s president for his actions against the Uighurs.

At least the Chinese don't bomb them to death as the Americans have done to at least 600,000 Iraqis and other Muslims.

Nor do they torture them as the Americans did at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo where Muslims have been detained without charge and without trial for decades.

Americans have been killing Muslims since 1899 in the Philipines.

American collaborators helped the Jews escaping Europe create Israel not through altruism but because they didn't want a large number of Jews seeking refuge in America.
