Two morons—open Arctic ocean leads to WARMING! It says so clearly in the article “leading to amplification of sudden warming of the climate.”

D’uh! Ice melting creating open sea water which absorbs sunlight and is warmed by it. This melts more ice so more heat is absorbed. I did know that, Booby you idiot, been writing about that in the AGW board. Pity FD does not have a board dealing with climate and the environment.

AGW will see MORE snow, Booby, not less! Snow is precipitation that falls where the atmospheric temperature is a bit less than 2*C below freezing and AGW will see more areas hit that temperature. So, be prepared for more snow just like you should be prepared for more hail and bigger hailstones all due to AGW.

Barley was grown in Greenland—recently but not in the Viking era in Greenland. The Vikings had meat/dairy animals on Greenland (a fine example of false advertising) but their main activity was hunting narwhal for their ivory tusks—no time to plough ground. By the time the LIA started to bite elephant ivory was again available in Europe so the economic basis of he Greenland colony had gone and the seas froze earlier and earlier making navigation to/from Greenland difficult. So the Viklings left Greenland—but the Inuit remained.
