A band that plays covers of Stevie Ray Vaughan tunes.I'm not musically inclined, I've tried in the past but I'm tone deaf and lazy. Luckily my kids don't take after me. Even the ten year old can tell what note someone is playing just by listening to it. My oldest is very talented but as he this year started the STEM excellence programme, he has had to give up the music due to time restraints. I want to get him into something outside of school, possibly guitar, but as I am trying to purchase a business everything is on hold until that is finalized since we might have to move.
Can I ask what, is a SRV band?
I wanted to delete the thread but I couldn't. Good. I am glad I triggered him that hard. I'm HEARTBROKEN to be kicked out of a forum where people abused me and refused to debate...I play guitar, I'm in a SRV cover band and auditioning people for a Judas Priest cover band tonight.
I don't have callouses you can SEE, but my fingers stopped getting sore pretty quick.Yes I do/did.
From age 9 I played button chromatic accordion and later years piano. I haven’t touched piano for about 5 years now. But feel the urge to go back and play again.
I want to learn guitar but found it hurts the padded tips of fingers. A musician friend told me she developed callouses over time. I just don’t want callouses.
I just had a practice where the singer didn't come and I had to sing. No one wants that...I play a few instruments to a limited degree ... probably most proficient on the guitar , but nowhere near the standard of you guys. I like a nice acoustic.
My main instrument though is my voice, although that's no longer what it used to be.
And he formed a band called Rabbit, that were terrible. He's done a bit of press recently, actually.Yeah, I'm gonna be a pedantic wanker (again)
There was another vocalist: Dave Evans - the original singer.
Not 100% sure, but I think he still lives here in Perth.
But yes, Bon and Brian are both great.
