Leadership and authority are two different things. And in a few days, his VP will preside over the Senate.

The President Pro Tempore, or acting-President Pro Tempore usually does the job gavel to gavel, & gets their face on CSPAN whenever the Senate is in session, but they hold no real Constitutional Power. It is the least sought after job in the US Senate.............lots of yawn time.

Let Pelosi handle the impeachment while he focuses on the pandemic.
I want Trump impeached more than anything in the world, but I applaud President Biden's decision to stay out of it.
He has no say in it anyway, so just let him get on with the job of trying to clean up Trump's mess.

President Trump will not get Impeached.........they only have 10 days to indict him in the House, & being the Senate is still controlled by the Republicans, probably until after he leaves office , it dies there if they somehow get that far......

I expect the House will impeach Trump, perhaps as early as this Monday or Tuesday.
